Rivera Stiffey Suspension Kit for Harley Davidson 1980-2008 FL rubber mounted m

I put these on the 03 Road Kill to help fight the dreaded Death Wobble. I also used the Progressive stabilizer link as well as installed a new front end motor mount. This plus new Progressive shocks completely eliminated the Wobble.One if the really nice things about it is it changed the vibration sweet spot up to about 80 MPH. There IS more felt vibration in the boards up to about 80, then it smoothes out nicely. I was going to buy a 6 speed tranny, but I don't need to anymore! W00t!Installation was a snap. With the bike upright, I removed the side plate and eyeballed to what degree it should be clocked. I then tightened the top bolt a few turns and then the bottom one a few turns, alternating to ensure the side plate was pressing them evenly. Jam up, and jelly tight. Godspeed!

This product helped the rear wheel steering problem on my 2004 Road King. H-D corrected a poorly designed rear motor mount/ combination in ( I believe ) 2007 with little fan fare. I think the rubber mounting of the swing arm allowed too much lateral movement of the rear wheel and may have been a cause of the famous tank slappers. If your motorcycle was made before 2007, I would recommend it!

Handles much better but vibrates I adjusted the motor mounts and it's getting better . I'll know more in a few weeks

Best investment. This product has improved my handling. I need to give it some time t o see how my tire wear is. I no longer have double steer.
