The device is small, and it fits perfectly with my Macbook Air. However, I am not seeing satisfactory r/w times, especially for use with Virtual Machines. It's just not fast enough for that.If using this for general, permanent file storage, you're good to go (it's great for .iso's). This is a perfect solution. If you're looking for a sustainably fast drive for use as a base for VM operations, look somewhere else.

Good for size.
First, for the size of this drive its great. Its extremely small and perfectly matches my macbook air. I bought this drive to run a Parrallels windows vm on it. I sadly realized that the write operations on the disk are too slow. Its only 30 mb/s. The read speeds are very fast at about 130-140 mb/s. So BE ADVISED this is too slow to do heavy real-time write operations like running a vm or cutting video. This drive would be great as extra space to store media or flat documents/text files.

Doesn't Mount on my Mac
Just stopped mounting after a few months ownership. Tried several MacBooks, PC's tablets.... it doesn't even blink. Very disappointed.

Super pour Macbook air
J'a acheté cette clé pour augmenter la mémoire de mon MBA, limitée à 128 GB. Vraiment un excellent produit, qui s'intègre parfaitement à mon mac. Superbe finition, impression de grande qualité. Je la laisse constamment en place, on ne s'en rend même pas compte. Concernant les commentaires négatifs: (i) la lumière ne s'allume que lorsqu'elle est en fonctionnement, donc pas vraiment un problème, (ii) effectivement elle chauffe un peu lorsque l'on charge de très gros fichiers, mais cela n'a jamais affecté son fonctionnement. Un achat que je recommande à 100 %...

Un bel exemple de miniaturisation
Achetée en vue de rester branchée en permanence sur mon MB AIR 11 pouces late 2013 128go SSD, cette clef USB remplit parfaitement son rôle.Les performances en USB 3.0 sont excellentes et largement suffisantes pour l'utilisation que je fais de cette clef. Elle me sert de stockage en complément de mon SSD de 128 Go pour certains films, documents divers et MP3s.Le fait de la laisser brancher en permanence ne pose pas de soucis car la clef est vraiment compacte. Le macbook rentre dans sa housse slim sans aucun soucis avec la clef USB sur le côté.Bravo aux designers, la finition est remarquable.

C'est un premier bon point...La clef usb est livrée dans une enveloppe courrier suivi; pas très bien protégée, mais comme elle est dans son emballage c'est suffisant. Le packaging est sympa et donne une sensation de produit de qualité.Elle a pris sa place sans problème dans mon macbook Air 11"Concernant la vitesse, ce n'est pas ce que ce fait de mieux, mais c'est largement suffisant, et ce point faible est compensé par les dimensions de la clef.
