This was larger than expected for a great price. Beautiful when switched on and lovely to look at whether switched on or at. Very pleased with the quality of the product.

I've never owned one of these before and I've got to say, unfortunately this beauty isn't mine! It's a present for my son who has asked 'Santa' for one. I was very impressed with it! Well packaged but not excessively over packed. Clear assembly instructions came with this so you'll have no real issues during assembly! You don't need any tools to assemble it, you just need to insert the bulb into the 'bulb housing', insert said housing into the 'pre-drilled' cavity and booom, you're done, it really is that simple chaps! The weight of this one is impressive. I got the 12 kg one which is gorgeous! The light from this is of a most unusual crispness and is rather bright considering the salt rock is of a dense composition! It does taste salty! Haha. The wooden base is secured firmly to said Himalayan Rock with two perfectly adequate screws, so you don't have to do anything to them. The light that is emitted is of an exceptional quality and really adds a lovely focal point to any room. It's heavy, looks great and has natural faults running through the rock, as you'd obviously expect! I'm very pleased with this item and I'm rather envious of my son as its his Christmas present! I will definitely be buying at least one of these and I can't rate this high enough, it's stunning! I didn't get it for its healing properties I would add, I don't belive all of that 'voodoo' but I suspect that the 'calming' light that this emits could have a relaxing effect on us human beens, ergo could relieve stress and anxiety! I genuinely can't recommend this enough though!

It’s sensational! like a Swiss army lamp! (bottle of wine for scale) So many uses!!! It’s Wonderful light up salt lick (don’t lick it too much much though, it gives you quite a headache, after the first half hour or so) Quite heavy as you’d expect for a massive lump of salt, so you could use it to prop a door open, use it to block your cat flap (for when that tomcat comes sniffing around again!), use it as a paper weight, or simply pop it in the boot of your car to get that cool lowered suspension look you’ve always wanted. Look forward to those cold frosty nights, safe in the knowledge that you can defrost the driveway and melt snow in an instant, while you wave at your neighbour scraping away for hours! It’s Very handy if you run out of salt in your salt mill too… simply chisel a little off, break it in to smaller pieces and put in to your salt mill. (Great on fish n chips) All in all, very happy with the perches!

Although it's a natural product, it's a lovely shape and the colour is even throughout. It's heavy so I had to lay the box on its side to remove it. Well packed. Easy to assemble, took a few seconds but I have another two, so I knew how to put the bulb in. It's standing on a flat black plate as they do sweat and bits of salt fall off now and then. A beautiful item.
