Probably my favorite of all the 'easy' swaddles
My son is 8 weeks old but he is long and lean. I prefer the easy swaddles to the traditional swaddle blanket because my son has been able to wriggle out of the swaddle blankets (even when wrapped really well) since he was about two weeks old and generally seems to hate being swaddled but sleeps better in a swaddle. I tried the summer infant which I liked but it became too small for his long legs. My son used the large summer infant and it was too small after about 6 weeks and he is only 8 pounds, 22 inches. I also have the HALO sleep sack which is very good too but the stretchy fabric can sometimes make baby too hot. Both the summer infant and Halo sleep sack have velcro strips to attach the swaddle whereas this swaddle has snaps. The snaps are much better: they don't get stuck on things in the washer; they have a little more give (if you don't do the velcro tight enough they come loose) which means baby can wiggle around a little bit without unswaddling himself and the snaps are much quieter and don't wake baby. Finally this was the only easy swaddle I could find that was lighter weight for summer (my son was born late Feb and we will probably swaddle him three months and it is starting to warm up). Its a very breathable fabric so it's worth the extra expense compared to the summer infant I think.

Best swaddle for my baby
Love these Easy Swaddles! We had two of the small size and used them nightly, and then had to buy the large when my baby grew past 23". She grew out of the small at around 2 1/2 months, but she is a very long baby. My friend gave us 5 different kinds of easy swaddles to try, and this was our favorite, by far. Some of the other swaddles are made of polyester and were way too hot for a radiator heated New York apartment in the winter. Also, snaps are so much quieter than velcro when you're trying not to wake up a sleeping baby, plus they don't catch on things in the wash. My baby can wiggle her arms out of this swaddle if we don't wrap it tight enough. I just wish you could open the swaddle from the bottom to make diaper changes easier.

Good, but issues with material covering his face...
Our son really likes this swaddle. It's not super tight, and he can wiggle around (and get his hands out if he really tries), which he likes - if you need something tight, this isn't for you. But we tried them all, and he likes this the best. The biggest problem is that if he wiggles a lot, and gets his hands up close to his face, the material moves and covers his face, which is super scary. We have to snap the snaps really low (ie the first snap has to start on the second hole, because if we snap it correctly it covers his face when he moves). I gave it 3 stars because our son does love it, and he can maneuver it so it works, but it's not awesome other than that... The material covering his face is pretty scary.

Only for babies who loved to be swaddled...not mine!
If your baby loves to be swaddled, then this might be the right product for you. However, even if your baby is willingly swaddled, nighttime diaper changes are a pain. You have to take them completely out of it in order to get to their diaper. And the tiny snaps everywhere are hard to find in the dark when you're half asleep. If your baby is like mine and you have to wait till they're asleep to swaddle them because you know they sleep better that way, then look elsewhere. There is no way, with all the snaps in various places, to do it without waking the baby.Unfortunately this was the only muslin swaddle for the summer I was able to find in a larger swaddle. Hopefully Aden and Anais will redesign this before my next baby comes along!

Good Swaddle wrap alternative
This wrap definitely is pretty good for securing my little one at night. It is easier for me to use than just folding a blanket around him. There are a few things I am not a fan of. The material is not quite as soft as I expected it to be. I have the stars version of this swaddle and it is softer. Also, my LO can eventually get his arms up at night.

Best Swaddle Blankets
I love these swaddle blankets. We tried the ones with velcro and they were not easy to put on and felt rough on baby. Also, my 3 week old baby was able to get out of the velcro ones easily. These from aden + anais are soft on baby and he can't get out of it. A surefire way to get him to stay swaddled is to first wrap him with a regular swaddle blanket and then put this one over it. It's like magic! He stays in there all through the night. We used the small size for the first month and moved up to the large since he got too long for it (he's 2 months old now).

Love the material
Love the material, my baby likes it fine, I think it's easy to use and so far safe. Only 3 stars because the leg part is too narrow - should be wider to allow more leg/hip movement/opening for the large size. Won't be my go to swaddle, but works in a pinch. I used the small size for baby at 1-2 months for naps, the leg part on that was better for the size.

great swaddlers, especially for a longer baby!
I was really glad to find these longer swaddlers for my long baby! The snaps were a little tricky to get used to but quickly became no problem to use even in the near dark during the night. I love how soft they are, too. These were the longest swaddlers I could find when my baby outgrew his Halo Swaddlers at about 4-6 weeks old.
