In short a very well made quality FULLY functional smartphone - just smaller. Does everything. Camera is average but not bad at all. Everything else perfect. The call reception quality is excellent. Twice as good as my premium Galaxy S22 which struggled to get calls or data in this area.Very happy.

Sympathetic,well made product,easy to handle using one hand only.Transfer of my entire old phone to this one...easy and quick.As it is smallish it fits in all kinda pockets,Jeans,Jackets etc.easily.I was fed up with these "big" flashy cell phones.And I don't see the reason why I would take a 1000 Pound phone with me on a shopping trip in Central London...or any city.To get robbed?No thank you.All this hype about the camera and stuff you don't even need in a portable device is totally over the top anyway.I got a phone to make phone calls with and not to play some stupid games on or typing messages with or watching videos on...I wanted a device not too small,just big enough to see what I'm doing and preferably "one hand use",and that's exactly what I got.Anybody looking for a "second" device or who's just fed up participating in "Ohhh,look what I got in my pocket" and "mine is larger than yours" and has a more individualistic approach to life will be very pleased with this well made cell phone.The only draw back is the user manual.Which seems to have been written by someone who thinks he/she speaks English.I mean one understands what it's all about but it's just weird.If the manufacturer would invest in that this phone would probably sell more.The packaging feels like a premium phone packaging and like I said it is rather well made,that goes for the design too.Although it's not totally square shaped it still looks modern.Good product for a correct price.Not cheap though!But it's worth every penny.

Having owned many smartphones over the years, this is the best of them all. I love the size, sound quality and display. It was also the easiest to set up. Well done Cubot.

I've had 2 of these, at around a year the battery swells up, breaking the case seal.Naturally, concerns of impending explosion make it impossible to rely on and makes it poor value for money. Its a shame.I'm not the only person to note this.

Cubot Pocket mobile looks nice (I got the green and gold one); it feels comfortable in my hand; and most important it fits in my jeans front pocket. I don't know if it's because I've been spoilt by using a Samsung Galaxy for the last six years, but the Android programme seems really clunky and not at all user friendly. There are no instructions for the Pocket - the Quick Start Guide with it merely shows a diagram indicating on/off switch, speaker, and hole for USB-C charging cable to plug in. I haven't found a manual online either. The alarm if ignored doesn't automatically snooze (and the sounds offered are abysmal). You have to swipe the screen in the correct direction while the alarm is sounding to snooze it (the other direction switches it off). The calendar structure is rigid, a bit like menus online that never offer exactly what you want. I hope I'll get used to it and find out how to do things a bit better.

So hard finding a compact phone to fit in the pockets of my cycling shorts.That it also appears to be robustly constructed and has a phenomenal battery life (in comparison to previous phones which had me carrying a spare battery) seeing it easily three days between charges are bonuses.Android 11 and Bluetooth 5 make synchronisation with my tablet and headset easier and the memory capacity looks like it'll easily cope with my demands.And customer support is surprisingly quick. Obviously based in China, my question last night was answered while I was asleep, ancillary questions during breakfast.

This is a nice size and colour. Unfortunately, within a few weeks some letters on the keyboard started freezing. To begin with I put it down to 'user error'! After a few more weeks there were several weird things happening and I now couldn't use any of the letters/characters on the right hand side or the space bar or switch to capitals. As I have had this phone for five months I contacted Cubot who explained if I returned it it would be at my expense, but requested a video first. I sent three clips of it freezing but because I use a stylus (small screen) they wanted video clip of me using my fingers which I did. They then came back and said there was nothing wrong, it was a small screen. I managed to get further clips of it freezing and asked what they would be willing to do. They said again, it was a small screen and that they had had several others returned for the same reason and there was nothing wrong with any of them. In the meantime the phone went from bad to worse and I ended up not even being able to put my passcode in rendering it unusable. I contacted Amazon and explained the situation, who in my experience, were yet again very helpful. They immediately offered a full refund and free return. So thank you Amazon and I am quite happy to purchase another phone from you, but it won't be a Cubot!
