A good mat for the price
This is not a commercial quality mat, but it is a great value for a recreational driving area. I have hit well over 2500 balls from this mat and it is holding up well. There is a little bit of blistering on the base mat material (the side that touches the ground)I leave the mat out on my concrete patio and it is weathering well.100% recommended

Great golf mat for all uses
This is a great mat for hitting into practice net or use while chipping in yard. Helps tune the game and swing! This is just like the one a the driving range!

So far, so good just hit about 50 balls and definitely feels better than a cheap mat.
I don't know that this is a 5-star mat, and I'm giving it 4 for now. On the course I take a divot with every iron so mat practice can cause some ache in my forearm. I learned this the hard way when I got my net and el cheapo hitting mat. So far, hitting irons on this mat feels pretty true, there's no hard rebound and shots hit fat, feel fat. My only complaint is right out of the box there are two indentations as if something had been rolled up into the turf at some point. (See pictures). I'm hoping these will rise up as it warms up, but I have my doubts. They don't impact use per se, except for that one spot and that's a small area of the overall mat. It's just that the mat is brand new and came out of the box with an obvious flaw. That's bothersome.

Good basic mat but do not expect it to be your last
I have had this mat for a little under two years now. Scraped away the grass so it sets directly on the dirt which was packed to make a nice flat surface that would have some give. Overall, I think it is good, but I honestly hoped I would get more use out of it. I hit on it a lot....a ton in fact, easily hitting an average of 750-1000 balls a week. Early on, the only issue I had was the mat moved when working with high irons. I am 240 lbs so a mat moving underneath me due to the clubhead impact was surprising, but really not a big issue. The turf closely simulates playing conditions when driving into the ball, but when practicing short chips, the clubhead bounce will skip the blade into the back of the ball. The rubber tee system is OK, but not great. I have a high clubhead speed and the tee would literally rip out of the mounting hole so I would have to go chase it down, lift the mat and re-insert. It appears the hole is too big so the tee flange would flex and pull through the mat hole. I fixed it by taking a butter dish lid about 6 inches in diameter, cutting a hole in it the EXACT size as the tee tube and using it like a washer under the mat. Problem with the pulling through the hole was solved. The only other early issue was a green film would get welded to the bottom of clubs. Easy to wipe away, but the grass does delaminate. Problem is, that early this summer (roughly 15-16 months of use), the mat started to become threadbare. First, noticeable depressions in the "grass" which would make sense since the film on the head of my clubs had to come from somewhere. But these then worked down to full-fledged tears in the grass and binder fabric. Still have plenty of room to hit, it is just torn up now and I had hoped to get more than 1.5 years out of it before it became ratty. Will probably buy another due to the price, but at the same time, will weigh getting a higher quality one if I can get more life out of it.

Great Mat, but don't expect to receive the free extras.
I'm giving this 4-stars because the page says it comes with a ball tray and other free accessories. I got none, just the mat. Normally, I would knock off more than a single star for this, but I honestly didn't want that other crap and just wanted the mat. Now, the mat itself is great. I read reviews where people were saying that the mat had insufficient padding, and if you hit a fat shot off this mat on concrete that it would hurt. I also read reviews where people said that they felt like they were sinking into the mat, and that it was too soft. I'm having a hard time seeing either complaint. I weigh 260# and I'm not sinking into this mat at all. And I've purposefully hit some very fat shots, (ones that would take a 2" deep divot) and although I felt it, it was not that bad and certainly didn't hurt. (I had a smaller, firmer mat before and THAT one hurt!)I have this on my back patio, along with the Rukket 9x7 net and some Calloway orange foam practice balls. I've had this setup for about a week, and I am going out and hitting about 20 shots every hour. (My swing has definitely improved.) A single ball is enough, as the net returns the ball to you. I don't think I could ask for a better setup.

Great quality + customer service
This is a heavy weight solid hitting mat. I've had thousands of swings on this and it still looks great. Started in the loft for practice , now I have a whole garage setup. For the price, I couldn't be happier.*This came with some standard plastic tees (I don't use) but also promised a ball tray. Unfortunately there was no ball tray provided but it had a letter saying that COVID caused a delay and a tray would come a few weeks later. Well, fast forward a few months and still nothing. I finally contacted customer service and they immediately responded and promised a delivery. Sure enough, I had a ball tray at my door.Good product. Great customer service. I just hope they are still around when my mat finally wears off.

Best hitting mat I've used.
My previous mat (which I gave to a friend since I am not using it, and it was better than not having one) really grabbed the club if you hit the least bit fat or took a 'divot' after the ball, causing my arthritis in my hands to really flare up. This one is much better, and using a launch monitor shows a good bit of distance difference between the two since this one allows the club less friction. Highly recommend spending a little more to get this better product.
