Gulf Coast Caviar's 4oz Bottarga 100% USA🇺🇸 Sourced and produced

I did't realize I could get bottarga produced right in Florida but as I come to find out the west coast of Florida does just this. The product arrived vacuum sealed and in good condition. The bottarga itself is mild tasting, not as strong as the Italian kind especially not like the kind from Sardegna, but overall it's a nice condiment to use in Italian dishes like pasta aglio e olio or pasta con vongole.

I discovered bottarga on a recent trip to Italy and when I got back home, I was thrilled to find out that it was produced right here in my home state. The quality of Gulf Coast Caviar's Bottarga is top-notch. I actually like it better than the Sicilian-produced one that I tried. It's a perfect gift for a foodie friend because nobody I've mentioned it to or served it to has ever heard of it before. Once you try it, you'll be hooked. Love to grate it on top of pasta with some lemon zest, garlic and olive oil. It doesn't taste like fish at all. If I had to characterize the flavor I'd say it tastes like the sea. If you want a high quality "Made in Florida" item to give to others as a special treat, this is it!

I had my first taste of Mullet roe while traveling in Asia. The Japanese call this Karasumi. This is by far the freshest and highest quality mullet roe I have been able to find here on Amazon and I suspect the best available here in the US. I am actually quite grateful to have found Gulf Coast Caviar as I have been craving good Karasumi for a long time. I like it sliced thin and sauteed for just a bit then served with thin cut green onion over rice!

The first product I received was not up to par so I contacted the seller. Gulf Coast Caviar was quick to make it right, exceeding my expectations by sending a replacement and then some of a clearly superior product. Not only is this a great product (and so delicious too), this seller is top-notch. I look forward to being a long-time customer!

I enjoy this in scrambled eggs, on salad, in olive oil for dipping the list goes on & on. Great!

WOW..this is wicked good....i grated a bit of this on some linguine & clams and it just took it to another level...seems like really good shelf life too.i just keep it in the fridge ..ready to grate at a moments notice.....very nice on my scrambled eggs...nice job
