Very fast drives, throughput is as advertised.

S500 Pro 1Tb 3x4 SSD is fast and draws 2.0A. Installation in a passive cooled SSD box was easy. I used the stock heatsink plus two Si pads provided with the box. The rated speed is 3500, but the 40Gb box chip can't go that fast. It is a waste to put a 4x4 5000+ in a box, it can't go faster and will roast. This setup has cooling capacity to spare. I built a rippin' fast SSD for a C-note plus a sawbuck.

Super-saving price ($38 for 1TB, cheapest I could find for m.2 on that day), outstanding speed (up to 3500 MB/s read, 2500MB/s write), and exceptional value for my laptop... The question mark is reliability... Hope it last 3 years or more...

After looking around i decided to take the gamble on this drive to just have a dedicated boot drive and i am happy to say it’s working phenomenally!

i got this for a gaming computer i built and it works great not had any issues and my games load so so much faster and for the price you cant beat these ill be buying more in the future
