SO much better than expected…
Having heard about this figure for so many months without him showing up in my store, I finally decided to bite on this Amazon order. I’m a Studio Series completionist, so I knew I’d get him, but I wasn’t looking forward to it particularly.Man was I wrong. He’s one of THE best SS figures I’ve gotten from this line in the last year. Not only does he have some good heft to him (to my surprise), but his transformation is very clever. Ive never seen a car-former do it like this. Good on Hasbro for making this unique instead of getting lazy with the design.Oh and somehow, only heaven knows how, they managed to make him actually look like he’s wearing a trench coat. And the result is awesome. I don’t even like the original movie character design and I still think this figure looks perfect. To the people out there saying it’s not much better than the original Deluxe Crosshairs from 2014, I don’t know what you’re on to be that nuts, but this guy is so much better in every single way to his prior iteration.Pros:-good weight and quality-tight joints-clever transformation-detailed sculpt-awesome car mode-slick looking “trench coat”-ankle tilts-weapon storageCons:-some awkward lack of articulation in certain areas-price. Deluxes are just to expensive now. He’s worth i on sale for ~$20Overall, absolutely incredible surprise of a figure.

Better than I expected!
I sat on the fence with this guy for a while. Pics just did not make this guy look good. But I’ve hit a lull with collecting so I decided to randomly pick him up and wouldn’t you know it - he’s actually great! Nice tight joints, intuitive transformation, and they finally got his color right. He’s very poseable and all of his appendages move pretty freely. Other reviews mentioned his “broken” backpack - it’s not. It comes detached and must be snapped onto the ball socket. This might have been intentional to keep it from being ACTUALLY broken, because that thing is a pain to get in there. But once it’s in it stays, and doesn’t hinder transformation at all. All told, he’s awesome and you should definitely grab him!

Excellent figure, with a few issues.
Crosshairs, like much of the cast of Transformers: Age of Extinction, is a very difficult design to capture in toy form. That said, the designers of the Studio Series toyline have made an admirable effort to bring Crosshairs's look to life, and for the most part, they've succeeded. The execution of Crosshairs's cloak is very good, but only from the front. When viewed from the side or the back, the cloak essentially just looks like a bunch of nonsense. However, at a good angle, the cloak is absolutely killer, with lots of great options for poseability. On the subject of poseability, Crosshairs is surprisingly poseable. While he has no waist articulation, he has double-jointed knees and ankle tilts, allowing him to stand in pretty much any way you want. His arm movement is a bit restricted by his cloak, but it's generally very good.Additionally, part of his cloak is designed to be popped off if one so chooses, which gives Crosshairs more flexibility and a sleeker silhouette. This is a great feature, but do be warned that it's a bit of a pain to put back in again if you have butterfingers like me. Also, for whatever reason, the spoiler on his Corvette mode isn't glued in, so expect it to fall off over and over again as you manipulate the figure.Lastly, his transformation is very clever and satisfying, and his Chevrolet Corvette vehicle mode is frankly excellent. This is definitely the best representation of Crosshairs we'll ever get at the Deluxe price point.

A well-detailed Crosshairs action figure
To put it in a way the Autobot sharpshooter himself might say... Well, raise your hand if you're thoroughly enchanted by this well-detailed Crosshairs action figure.

Big hit!
My son asked for this specific transformer and was very happy with it! A piece fell off the first day but we were able to reattach it and it’s held up great since!! Very durable for a child’s toy but has a ton of small parts that can fall off! Wouldn’t recommend for smaller children!

This is DIFFICULT to transform
We gave this and one similar to my son and nephew and they were completely unable to get them to transform in an acceptable fashion. It took two adults the better part of 40 minutes to figure out the basics and even then, in the vehicle configurations it was ...nonfunctional.
