About Windshield Repair: This kit is designed to provide vehicle owners the necessary information and tools to repair small damages in laminated automotive glass windshields. This kit should only be used on bulls-eye, spider web, star damages, and some combination breaks smaller than 1 inch (25 mm) in diameter. This kit will not repair surface pits larger than or cracks longer than 3/16 inch (5 mm). If the damage(s) are in the Driver’s Primary Viewing Area (DPVA), as described in the ROLAGS, owners should have their windshield inspected by a professional glass repair technician to determine whether the windshield should be repaired or replaced.

It’s better the JB Weld but not as good as MATCC
Have been using brand MATCC for a while and liked it a lot but no longer available on Amazon. This brand looks very similar and hated the JB Weld brand so decided to give this one a try. The resin seems to be the same as the MATCC but the sticky pads were cut weird and uneven across the surface. I bought two kits on both pads in the kit I opened were messed up haven’t opened the 2nd yet. When I got to the positive pressure step after I had it setup and walked away it began leaking which I didn’t catch for about 20 minutes. Cleaned it up use the Mylar and moved to sun it dried quick as expected but the pit on the chip didn’t fill in very well.
