This has an intended purpose to regulate the time my pool pump runs. It was a bit cumbersome to setup for me as I had a couple other wifi networks that kept me from registering properly at first. When I disabled those networks and disabled the 5GHz on my router the smart switch finished its setup with ease. I'm happy with the product and will search for more from this seller.EDIT: this lasted 6 months and stopped working.

So I got this for my outside Hoildays lights. It uses AMA Home app and only supports 2Ghz. Luckily my modem had both.When I tried to add it to my Alexa Smart Home sometimes it would not recognize the device even though its listed as a device in Alexa. To be fair Amazon recently updated the Alexa app which feels has some bugs, so not sure if its the Ama app or Alexa.

Lasts maybe 6 months here in Florida. Bought two and they eventually went OFFLINE for some reason and couldn't get them to work again. Thought I'd give it another try and bought two more in Dec 2018 and here it is June 2019 and now they are OFFLINE again and I can't get them to work.

I use it to run my above ground pool pump. Set schedules and you can access form anywhere.... awesome time saver for me.

It works great and is simple to use and set up.Set up was easy if you follow the instructions carefully and it is working very well.I can control the timing, earlier or later, on or off, and set a timer so I don't have to worry about it.I can control it when I am away.

The device works as intended, but I bought it so that I could include it in my Home Assistant setup. The brains of this one is an ESP-12s chip which can be flashed easily using TASMOTA firmware. Most of the pins are available but you will have to solder directly to VCC on the chip itself (and thus void your warranty). Works great!

Instructions were pretty clear though I had to use a magnifier to read them, Setup was very quick and easy. Then I connected to My Echo and Alexa is now in control. Whole process took less than 15 minutes. I highly recommend this product.

This unit has been outside for 3 months in the rain, snow, etc... and performed great. It isn't too far from the house so Alexa and wireless connection has been strong. Really fun to turn on the hanging lights over the deck from inside.
