Perfect mug for bringing on a mountain hike. Nice and small and easy to pack away. It cleans up very well and is extremely durable. The lid fits nice and tight yo prevent spilling. It keeps you drink or soup nice and warm. Definitely worth the money and a mug that will go on several more hiking trips for sure!

I recently put the Hydro Flask coffee mug 6 Oz to the test to see how well it keeps beverages hot. Starting with a cold mug, I poured in 6 oz of hot water and used a digital thermometer to take readings every 15 minutes. Right off the bat, I was impressed by the sleek design and comfortable grip. The lid seals well, preventing any spills, which is a big plus. Testing Results: At the start, the temperature was a solid **182°F**. Here’s how it measured over time: - 0 minutes: 182°F - 15 minutes: 169°F (drop of 13°F) - 30 minutes: 162°F (drop of 7°F) - 45 minutes: 155°F (drop of 7°F) - 60 minutes: 148°F (drop of 7°F) - 75 minutes: 142°F (drop of 6°F) - 90 minutes: 138°F (drop of 4°F) - 105 minutes: 133°F (drop of 5°F) - 120 minutes: 129°F (drop of 4°F) Performance Analysis: The mug did a fantastic job of keeping the coffee warm. After an hour, it was still at 148°F, which is above the typical industry standard of 140°F. Even after 120 minutes, it held steady at 129°F, making for a pleasant drinking experience. Overall, I think the Hydro Flask coffee mug is a great choice for anyone who likes their drinks hot for a couple of hours. However, if you're looking for something that will keep your coffee piping hot for several hours, this might not be the best option. Personally, I enjoy sipping my coffee while it’s still warm, and for that, this mug hits the mark perfectly. If you want a reliable and stylish insulated mug, the Hydro Flask is definitely worth considering

My New Year’s resolution (which I started halfway through December) was to cut out energy drinks, and I needed a mug that I could bring to work that would keep my tea warm, even when I stepped away from it for too long. I have a 32oz Hydroflask from college I still use, but don’t want to put anything other than water in that one. The 12oz is the perfect size for my batches of hot tea, and it fits in my cup holder for my car (which has a gap for the handle to fit in). While it still keeps my tea hot a lot longer than just a regular mug, it doesn’t keep it comfortably hot for longer than an hour or so if left unattended with the lid fully on, which I think is a fault of the thinner, less insulated lid, as well as probably the size being so small. If the lid was a bit more insulated, it could probably stay hot for longer, even at this small size. I usually drink my tea within the hour, but there are times my ADHD takes over and I forget about it, and come back to a warm-to-tepid cup of tea after a couple hours. Great mug if you’re relatively quick about drinking your tea, though (within an hour or so of brewing). The lid isn’t spillproof, but I haven’t really knocked this over. The bottom of the mug is the same matte, almost silicone-feeling texture as the rest of the mug, so it’s not prone to sliding around on a desk easily. Haven’t tested it in a dishwasher, as I prefer handwashing, but I’m sure it’ll hold up just fine.

I love the color of this mug. It does its job keeping my drink cold. The lid pops off easily and is well built. I have purchased a second one as well as an adapter so it can be used in my Jeep.

Does keep temp the same as when you put it into cup so cup can sit for a bit and not cool off. I did not use the lid. It's lightweight and very pretty. Feels nice to drink from - at least without lid. I got the Aloe Greej and ordered blue for frieneds. Colors are very nice. Taste stayed nice and clean. Now, only problem is Hydro takes forever to deliver. Took about 6 weeks to get and I still don't have one cup. I ordered 3 and each came separately.

Over priced and doesnt even keep my coffee warm for an hour. The lid is useless, I am not sure why there is a small tiny hole on the lid. Wrong information shared in the product description.
