Wanted a SD adaptor that didn't stick out the side of my MacBook. This does that and colour co-ordinated too. Keeping the clean lines. The additional HDMi dust cover is great for when I'm not using that port

Tight fit, would be nice if like the transend you could more easily pull it out while still being flush. VERY difficult to take out from the laptop sd slot. Also when you put in the microSD card be sure its the one you wants as it is near impossible to get it back out. Good idea as it allows you (in theory) to change/increase the storage of the microSd card you use. I have just gone from 1Tb (Transend all in 1) to 2Tb microSD

The device got jammed in the slot and would not budge. I did all I could to get it out, but the top edge came off leaving the chip holder inside the computer - not working. My card slot is now useless. The device died after my return guarantee period expired so I am left with no way to either fix the computer or even get my money back. I've lost the chip too. It was great as long as it lasted - but then...

It works perfectly. I use it with a 1TB Amazon branded micro SD as backup storage. The fit is almost flush with the 16 inch MBP 2021 chassis. It sticks out about 0.5mm. It’s easy to install but tough to remove. It takes a tool such as a nail file – wrapped in a thin cloth to prevent scratching – to remove it. Fingernails are not enough. I’m very happy with it. None of the above is an issue for me. But for the significant price I expected perfection. I like to have the SD card permanently installed so this is a very good solution, and much better than having the regular sized micro SD adapter protruding so far out of the laptop.

Standard item. Slightly overpriced for what it is. But does the job :)

I saw few videos promoting the product as 'alternative way to increase the capacity of your mac' Sounds creative but In practice this is a terrible idea. You really get very slow speed READ / WRITE with most of the SD cards + this adapter. The really is that fast SD cards will cost almost as as much as actually upgrading the internal drive. My personal experience with pretty good SD card was 'terrible' (SanDisk 1TB Extreme microSDXC card, UHS-I, Class 10, U3, V30) Just get an external hard drive if you are on budget to increase you storage, don't fall in to misleading marketing. There might be very very limited number of edcases where this might be worth buying but i cant think of any sensible ones.

The card dident go in ist sounded broken wen to put in the microSD got it today both the compatible card we are going to semester and have the extra memory for photos. Can you help me it sounded real vad when i tried ru putt the sd in . Mnv Andreas

Funciona Correctamente y es una de las mejores soluciones para tener más almacenamiento adicional comparando otras opciones que he visto que usan el puerto de la SD, por varios motivos: 1° Usas un almacenamiento que puede usarse de otra manera en el futuro, por tanto, es adaptable y reutilizable. 2° Consigues mayor velocidad que otras soluciones similares en función del almacenamiento escogido. 3° un mismo adaptador puede usarse para multiples microSDs... Puedes usarlo de forma mucho más polivalente que algo creado exprofeso. 4° Más barato (tú elijes el almacenamiento) que las alternativas que he visto. Desventajas: es gris plateado y mi Mac es el oscuro así que se nota bastante la cosa, pero bueno, Casi hubiera preferido un plastico ABS negro. Habría que elegir bien el modelo y no me ha quedado claro si habrá varios colores. Y el acabado del metal no es tan pulido así que se nota. En general muy contento, Yo lo uso para mis programas de sincronización y cloud y lo que son archivos fríos, carpeta de descargas, fotos, etc... Para que los softwares y otras cosas así tengan espacio en el almacenamiento principal de mi Macbook pro M4.

Queda al ras de la pared lateral por lo cual no se daña
