We added 2 of these into a double-wide doorway in our home that has a single step down into the family room, because our elderly relatives kept having trouble going from room to room at gatherings. I use this to help me climb two steps in my house it's mounted into my door jamb and it holds my weight (#175) easily and is very useful if you have trouble climbing stairs, but you still got strength in your arms

Very sturdy, quality, attractive

The media could not be loaded.  Strong flip handle hides against doorframe. Works well. Other buyers complained that the screws supplied strip too easily so we used our own screws.

Broke my leg and needed something to grab on to when stepping up to the landing and then stepping inside with my crutches. It made me feel very secure having my crutch in one hand and the other on this stable handle. Discreet and easy enough to install and remove. Installed on the inside of the door jamb

Really helps my 89 year old mother get up and down off the landing!

Works well

Used one first to help a 99 year old step in and out of garage. Some months later now in a wheelchair added one on bathroom doorway so he could get in and out of wheelchair.

It is so nice to have and not big and bulky, but still have that safety. when not using they fold up nicely.
