This pad is both comfortable and convenient. I think the size is just right and the weight is inconsequential when clipped to my day pack. The only modification I made is to use some double stick tape to add a scrap of cloased cell foam packing material to the bottom. I live and go outdoors in the desert. There are no shortage of stickers, needles and thorns here. Having an extra layer on the bottom keeps me from sitting on the wrong side and receiving a poke from a ride along from my last use!

It kept me warm and dry in cold weather. A little bulky but I strapped to my pack and rarely noticed it.

This has been a great kayak seat for me all year. Handles getting soaked repeatedly and drying in the sun. Nice thicker cushion.

I ordered 2 cushions for my husband for Father’s Day. They were delivered in the same box. One of them is perfect, everything we expected. It is one piece of foam, just as advertised. However, the other cushion is 2 pieces of thin foam, poorly glued together (very sticky) not as advertised. Unfortunately, it was 2 days past the return deadline when he took off the plastic to put them on the buggy.

Very hard material. Not very comfortable.
