Very good quality
I have never heard of the product name, Montpellier. As such, the purchase was made with a degree of trepidation. However, first impressions suggest my concerns may have been ill founded. The interior is bright with the LED lighting. The shelving has a good number of alternative positions. The crisper box also has a setting which makes it a 0°C box. The retro chrome door handles are excellent. The compressor operation is very quiet. First impressions suggest a good purchase. Now, only time will verify that!

Looks good, but disappointingly small freezer section
We bought our Montpellier MAB386R from Currys yesterday and it was delivered this morning.First, the good points: the retro red finish looks terrific - very similar to a Smeg, but at a third of the price. It's remarkably quiet, compared with our old Hotpoint Quadrio (which admittedly did give us 16 years of great if slightly noisy and occasionally leaky service). The upper fridge portion is generously proportioned, with ample room for your chilled food and bottles of Sauvignon Blanc and Prosecco. The downside though is that the three freezer drawers are ridiculously small and will limit the shopping you can do. I've just returned from Waitrose and one of their modest sized frozen pizzas wouldn't fit it without a bit of bending to cram it into place! One large tub of ice-cream just about fills one of the drawers and even removing the ice-cube tray is a bit fiddly. If I'd known how minuscule the freezer section was - and simply quoting a capacity in litres gives you no clue as to the maximum size of the drawers, I probably wouldn't have bought one of these.
