Both of them didn't work.
The one I got was defective. It arrived with the clamps fully in and the motor would not retract them -- it would only spin the lid opener. The motor would only run when the button was held pressed and the internal gears made a very loud racket. The version I received was the Culinare OneTouch "as seen on TV" with a gray button. UPDATED. i had one of these shipped to my In-Laws at the same time and it is defective also. Clamps went in and it then died - now completely dead. Downgraded to one star (from two).

not good at all
piece of junk. It almost as if 2 batteries are not enough to power it. new batteries and it barely works.. must hold button to get it to work. Not helpful for my handicapped friend with only use of one hand.
