Mullvad obviously respect their customers desire for privacy, as evidenced in their pay as you go policy and the fact that they require zero personal information from their customers.Yes, no name, address, telephone... Not even an email address.You simply download their app or configure Wireshark or OpenVPN to connect to their servers, get a randomly generated account number and pay/enter the code to use their service.The app is simple enough and offers multiple connection options for more advanced users.There are cheaper price plans from the competition if you are willing to sign up for a two year plan, but I like the simple pay as you go plan and bloatware free app.Many anti virus/security suite clients are borderline spyware in themselves these days and can tank even the performance of good PC hardware!Personally I see nothing wrong with the desire for more online privacy, and short of firing up a virtual machine and using the slow Tor network for everything possible then Mullvad is probably offers the closest thing you'll get to the impossible feat of true online privacy.
