OK, I just cannot stand it. I just can't read in the product description where this is a good hunting and skinning knife and let it go without a comment. The karambit is a very specialized knife, with but a single use, and that is self defense. Aggressive and deadly self defense. I dare anyone to even attempt to use this knife to remove a hide from a deer (or other game animal legally taken, hopefully for subsistence) without ruining the hide. Who ever wrote that knows nothing about this knife, and the text should be changed to keep it all straight. this IS NOT A HUNTING/SKINNING KNIFE, period, mic drop.Originally an Indonesian farm implement the karambit evolved into a formidable weapon for self defense.An attacker can quite easily be either immobilized with strikes rendering the arms and legs too damaged to function;or rendered dead by opening main arteries, depending upon circumstance and necessity.Makes an excellent choice for a neck knife backup, but not so much as an EDC blade. This ain't a multi-tasking knife.Its a Karambit, a fighting knife.Work horse don't race, & a race horse don't work.

Great knife for use in hand to hand self-defense. In use during hunting or camping, it would not work well in skinning, but I would use it to defend myself and my dog (pitbull) against other 'aggressive" campers or medium sized aggressive animals. I have a long held black belt in karate and with this weapon a concealed gun is not as necessary to feel safe. The finger hold provides a secure grip to prevent slipping on a wet grip during use in defense. Blade is extremely sharp and practice should be done using heavy gloves to prevent personal injury.

What's there to say? This is an exellent knife. It's rather light but doesn't have any sense of coming apart anytime soon. The handle being plastic does make it somewhat uncomfortable in some grips, yet it fits nicely even with large hands like mine. Speaking of whitch, the finger ring is perfect size for either pinky or pointer use. It also has a slight groove in the top of the ring, giving the thumb a nice grip. The sheath is okay, but it doesn't sit flush with the grip. As such, it wobbles when messed with. Even carrying it in pocket, i have not had an issue with it coming unseathed on me. It has and holds a rather exellent edge with a great point that the pictures don't reflect. It's sharpener is a bit of an eyesore, but is quick and efficient. The titanium top coat is smooth and glorious in the light. There is, however, a slight wear on the coating at the ring finger. The gold is wearing off there, but the stripe is perfectly fine. For its price, its an exellent replica and a pretty good blade. Not mouch of an EDC, but it will get done whatever cut job you need it to do.

I like the feel and look of this knife. It's very sturdy and the material is of quality. The design is beautiful. The protective sheath is a great idea to protect against accident. The finger grips make it very convenient and easy to use. I love the fact that it comes with a sharpening tool. This is a great product.

Bought this for our 13 year old son and he loves it. He has been collecting knives for a few years and was excited to add this to his collection. It is well built and the handle is very secured to the blade. After reading a ton of reviews to make sure I was purchasing a safe and well made knife this definitely fits the bill.

Fast delivery! I couldn't be happier with the look and feel of this blade. I'm not a gun-guy so the fact that this blade comes with both and sheath and a lanyard serves its purpose. The "Spider-Man" design is eye catching and got lots of compliments. The price also exceeded my expectations for what you get.

I have 3 other karambits, one a fade color, a blue chrome one, and a vanilla one. This, is by far my favorite one. To start off, the color and design of this karambit is very nice and has a unique style to it. It's also very light, I weighed all of my karambit blades and this one weighed like .5 ounces less than the rest. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice Karambit to show off

The knife is really good for self defense, the sheath is flimsy though, it hangs handle down all the time, if the knife handle gets caught by a branch or lose clothes, it can easily pop out and get lost, like it happened to me on a second time i took it for a hike in wilderness.No knife no stars
