I needed new calculator and specifically wanted one with BOTH solar and battery. This one met that requirement and exceeded my expectations for the price. It has a nice weight to it and feels higher quality than my previous solar calculator. The buttons are large, responsive, and do not stick. The display is easy for my 56 year old eyes to read. :) It takes a single AA battery and I was happy to see I did not require a screwdriver to get into the battery compartment. My previous solar calculator would not work unless it was stored in the light on top of my desk. I have been able to keep this one in a drawer and it works great when I pull it out. The color makes it fun. One of the rubber pads on the bottom came off, but it still fits flat on the table and they didn't keep it from sliding anyway. Overall I am very pleased! I would definitely purchase this calculator again.

I like the size of this calculator and that it is just basic functions. The keys feel good and the fact that it takes a normal battery that is in an easy to use battery hatch is awesome. I also like that it has an off button which many similar calculators do not have. The reason it didn’t earn five stars is because the feet were uneven which gives it a wobble when being used. I pulled them off and used some adhesive rubber feet of an appropriate size that I had. Still a good product despite this minor annoyance.

This is the right size for my bigger fingers, and I like that it is dual power with a regular battery.

This calculator is very easy to operate with its large keys (just right for those of us with oversized fingers). It has enough heft to sit securely on a desk, and the bottom has gripper feet so that it won't slide around. The large angled display improves visibility quite a bit - you don't have to crane your neck over the thing in order to read the result. As with most of these desk calculators, solar charging is included to extend battery life. Best of all, it uses a single, readily available AAA battery (no more hunting for button cells).

I really like the fact that the read out area lights up. Sometimes a room is just too dark. I recommend.

purchased on june 5th . it worked great! after a month i noticed if i didn’t keep the calculator 100% in a light source the screen would dim immediately. annoying but not a big deal. after the second month pressing the buttons became a -hitor miss - situationif it actually registered or not.3rd month could NOT get the decimal point to work! after oressing numerous times a zero would appear instead of decimal pointand the two other issues increased. i tossed the calculator out withouta secondthought but the took it out of the garbage. im really getting tired of the poor quality in thingspurchased today. i knowevery generation says it .....but reallly 3 months?! its a calculator ......ive owned ones that lasted over ten years...on a side note co cernong amazon.........why is it sometimes easy to contactseller and other times hard to find where to do that ?i was planning on contacting seller first to see if theyd honor a 1 year implied warranty but after searching for 20 minutes i gave up and came here. actually even the help bar ,,,,,,, im sure i coukd of searched “contact seller” somewhere but after a brief lookfor that one i gave up as well, ,,, maybe i was supposed to type “ contact seller “ in the search for items bar .....idk . maybe thecontact seller button disappears when the return policy expires........
