I don't know what Pentel did with this pen, but it's by far the best everyday-use ink I've ever seen in a pen this cheap. This is the pen that will dry faster than all the others, lay darker lines than all the others, and never, ever bleed on even the roughest paper. I take a lot of notes at work and at home, usually on cheap legal pads from Costco, and this has the best price-performance ratio of any pen I've used.I bought these alongside the uni-ball Vision Rollerball Pens, Micro Point (0.5mm), Black, 4 Count and the Pilot Precise V5 RT Retractable Rolling Ball Pens, Extra Fine Point, 3-Pack, Black Ink (26052), all in black 0.5mm. I tested them all together and even asked friends and family to test which they liked more - everyone confidently decided that these were the best despite being the cheapest of the three.They write smooth, don't bleed, and dry fast. Not only that, but the lines are confidently darker than the uni-ball Vision and on par with the Precise V5 ink, but without the frequent bleeding, pooling, and slow drying that you sometimes get from liquid inks - Pilot is a particularly egregious offender here if you don't spring for expensive stationery.While the other pens will certainly perform well, especially on nicer paper... they're decidedly more expensive. I got these as an add-on item for $5, which works out to about $1.67 per pen. In addition, you can usually get refills for these pens at around $1 each if you buy in bulk.I felt a little strange for liking these so much, especially since I usually can't stand gel pens, but I reluctantly realized that these simply wrote better than every other pen I had. I can't say much about the build quality or how well the ink will protect you from something like check or signature fraud, though, so consider your options more carefully if that's what you're worried about.In a nutshell, here's my take:Pros:- Never bleeds, even on cheap paper- Dries stupid fast- Surprisingly solid, deep black ink- Flows just as well as comparable liquid ink roller-balls- Dirt cheap considering the qualityCons:- Build quality is questionable - the clip will snap off if you're too rough with it- The grip, while I have no complaints, is a bit thicker than some people with small hands may likeJust go for it. If you take a lot of quick notes, are left handed, or have issues with your ink smearing because it doesn't dry fast enough, this will be the best $5 you spend all month.

They're a really great pen and last a long time, they've last me all throughout my middle school years and now as a junior in high school I can still use them!!. they write very smoothly and are comfortable to hold when writing. I've had no problems with them ever.

These pens are awesome and work great. I love them! They never stick and don’t ever smear for me and I love the needle tips they offer on these to because it’s great for writing good and thin lines and words in small areas to write and you can read them better then most!

These pens are so smooth. They are very easy to hold and they don’t slip from my hand. They dry very fast. The color that I got was black. The pens are very good quality, they come with three.

Only pens I use. I work as a teacher assistant and they are great for writing reports and last months. The color stands out, fit perfectly in my hand and the price can’t be beat.

So far, the pens write nicely, ink flows smoothly, are fairly comfortable in my hand. The barrel is a nice color contrast, except for the stupid bar code. Seriously, you printed the bar code directly on the barrel of the pen! I'll find a different red pen when these run out. I won't bother refilling.

Love the color! Just don’t drop the pen. The ink wouldn’t be smooth anymore.

Se provate queste penne non le lasciate più, tratto morbido, inchiostro fluido, non lasciano scie, non sporcano. La punta retrattile sottile dà una sensazione di scrittura favolosa, morbida e fluida e molto precisa.
