Wow this is a strong machine
I am very pleased with this binder. This is a high-quality machine and I love the adjustments on the punch. The depth adjustments are a big plus. I would buy this machine again. It is a little pricy, but you get what you pay for. My fellow machine was difficult to work with and it was not the quality as this Rayson. The fellow machine was only $15.00 less than the Rayson. Spend the extra $15.00 and buy this quality binder.

Excellent Binding Machine
Excellent binding machine. I really like the two handles, one on the right to punch the paper and one on the left to open the comb binding. You can punch the paper and immediately put it on the binding, which is open until you are finished punching.

Seems solid, works great
Solid metal construction with few plastic parts. Separate mechanisms for punching and binding. Worked well so far on 40 65-page books.

poorly designed
I purchased this product to replace a GBC combbinding machine I had used for 12 years. It finally stopped punching holes. This machine has several flaws, most notably the spacing of the holes is nonstandard if you use 11" long paper. Whether you use the guides printed on the machine or not you are going to get extra holes/notches at one or both ends of your paper. Another thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't open the combs completely so binding is difficult. I produce Braille. Most volumes are thick enough I cannot bind them on the Rayson machine so I have to keep the GBC machine around. Also, the assembly directions left much to be desired.
