Worth it, even if it separates
Used with my first pregnancy and loved it. Bought it again for my second and it came separated in little beads like other comments have called out. It wouldn’t spread well at all. I melted it in a double boiler, poured it back into the original container, and put it in the fridge and now it’s perfect. Exactly like when I used it the first time. No more separation and it spreads beautifully. Not sure why the separation occurred but it was an easy fix and for the quality of the product the extra step was worth it, IMHO.

First Pregnancy, NO stretch marks!!!
Let's start by saying that I was expecting to get horrible stretch marks as this was my first pregnancy and I have a very small waist (size XS in clothes). There was no possible way my belly could grow this big and not get a stretchmark... especially when I have them on my hips and boobs from previous weight gain and during puberty. Well, I used this Belly Butter twice a day starting around 12 weeks of pregnancy. Used after shower in the morning and at night before bed. I did not get one stretch mark on my belly and I'm now 2 months post partum. I never noticed a smell. It's very easy to apply. Dip your fingernail in the butter, then rub it in your hands to warm it up and melt it. Then lather all over your belly! Easy. For my whole pregnancy, I needed to purchase 3 jars (the last jar was opened around 35 weeks). I'm going to start using it on my face at night and on my other old stretch marks on my hips. I heard it helps with anti aging and removing old stretch marks. Well worth my money! And this would be a great gift for new momma's! --- Update: I had a C-section and my physical therapist told me to rub this Belly Butter into my incision every night. It has helped so much with smoothing my scar and flattening the puffy belly around my scar. Also, I'm in my early 40s and put this cream on my face every night before bed. I still barely have any wrinkles and my face is well moisturized. I was nervous it would cause acne on my face but nope! So great for pregnant bellys, scars, and preventing age wrinkles on faces!!

37 weeks and no stretch marks! No smell, leaves skin feeling hydrated.
If you're looking to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy, this is the stuff! I have been using this belly butter daily since 20 weeks pregnant and now at 37 weeks, I still don't have any stretch marks. The consistency is nice... it takes some good pressure with your finger to loosen it from the jar as it's solid at room temp, but once it hits your skin it melts and rubs in easily. A little bit oily feeling when first applied, but I put it on at bedtime and by morning it's soaked in and left my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. I haven't had any issues with the oils transferring to my pajamas. If they do, they've come out in the wash. I like that there are no fragrances added, so there's no strong scent, just a very faint scent from the natural oils that make up the butter. I've also been applying this to the areas of my breasts that had stretch marks already from 1st trimester. The stretch marks have vanished! It might seem a bit pricey for the small amount that is in a jar (4oz), but a jar has lasted me about 3 months, so only needing 2 jars to cover the whole pregnancy makes it seem a little more reasonable. I highly recommend this body butter for anyone looking to prevent or eliminate stretch marks during pregnancy!

Not the same
I used this with my last pregnancy in 2022, and had like half a container left so used that up before buying a new one and I have to say it’s not the same :/ I think it still does moisturize and coat my belly pretty good but it’s a different consistency. I feel like before it was truly like butter, it was kinda whipped feeling and melted into more of an oil with the warmth of your skin and it spread so well. This new jar however looks, feels, and spreads more like a frosting. It melts but it’s more dense and feels very thick, I feel like I need more to cover my belly since it doesn’t spread as much. I don’t necessarily think it’ll be less effective, but it feels like my stomach is covered in beeswax or something so I don’t think it soaks in as much. But my skin does still feel very moisturized so idk. I’ll probably stick with it but I wish the old formula remained! If you didn’t like how oily it was before, this might be better, but for me I don’t like the thicker residue feeling, and I don’t think the jar will last me as long.

37 weeks pregnant and no stretch marks thanks to this cream!
I started using Belly Butter when I was 15 weeks pregnant and applied a teaspoon-size amount to my belly morning and night, religiously. I’m at 37 weeks now and have ZERO stretch marks thanks to this cream. One day I forgot to put it on and I could feel my belly getting a little dry and itchy without it. It’s very thick to start but warms up nicely when you start applying it to your tummy. Leaves no residue on your clothes. Smells great and is a powerhouse of moisturizing ingredients that women swear by - Especially the sweet almond oil and shea butter. I love that it’s all natural and keeps my skin hydrated all day long. I’ve purchased this 4 times during my pregnancy. Worth every penny for the smooth and happy belly that I have as a first-time pregnant mama-to-be!

Stains clothes & still got stretch marks
Ladies… 1.) I am now convinced stretch marks are indeed hereditary, like dermatologists have been saying for years. I used this belly butter religiously, and still got stretch marks come 38.5 weeks. These pics are of my belly at 41 weeks. As you can see, I’m not super enormous. Very average sized. I even took collagen during my pregnancy and STILL got stretch marks. Please don’t fall for the beauty products that say you will avoid them. Some women will get them, and there is nothing you can do about it. 2.) This belly butter has stained half of my clothes, and it does NOT come out in the wash. You can see the grease circle on my shirt, and it even spreads to other clothes in the wash. Frustrating. I recommend wearing another layer between your belly and your clothes if you are going to use this. Overall, I wish I would have just used organic coconut oil, and not wasted so much money on 5 of these tiny tubs. It’s expensive for how much you are getting, and I have read organic coconut oil is amazing for your pregnant, growing belly, and can help with stretch marks. Just know: there is NOTHING you can do to prevent them if you are going to get them, so embrace them :)

Decent product--but caused my belly to break out
I've had unusually dry skin with this pregnancy. When I ran out of the lotion I'd been using, I thought I'd give this belly butter a try since it had excellent ingredients and reviews. However, after using it for 3 days (morning and night), I had several itchy sores starting to form on my belly! I've used all of these oils previously without a problem. It actually kinda looked like my friend's pregnancy eczema (which I've never had, pregnant or not). I stopped using the Glow Belly Butter and switched back to my old lotion, which although I have to apply it more often, has brought relief to the itch/dryness. It's been almost 4 days since I stopped the Belly Butter and the sores are basically gone. Pros: -smooth, not grainy, belly butter made of organic oils -no strong odors, just a pleasant, slight smell of cocoa butter and macadamia nut -leaves skin feeling soft Cons -smidgen greasy but that's to be expected from the richness of the oils (which you want during pregnancy) -caused me to break out in eczema like sores Final assessment: solid product that probably works quite nicely if it doesn't make you break out. I gave it 4 stars because while the product was good, I have no idea why I broke out. Could be just a weird pregnancy reaction or could be they had contamination issues with either their ingredient sourcing or manufacturing processes with this batch. I'm going to try to return it for a refund because $25 is reasonable if the product works, but not if you can't use it. Will hopefully post and update on the success of the return, as that would cause me to bump up a star for customer service.
