ABBA Thank You For The Music - The Illustrated Biography

My best friend is a great fan of pop music and ABBA so I bought this as a birthday present for her.

I really liked this book that arranged the story of the supergroup ABBA into different time frames based on Thier albums.It is also up to date and has a mix of engaging stories and photos in black and white as well as colour.Overall a great book.

I found the book interesting. ABBA fans ought to enjoy it.

A very enjoyable Abba book. Well written and researched with some nice photographs and images of the band.

After buying and being EXTREMELY disappointed with the latest "ABBA at 50" book-I decided to buy this other newly published ABBA book instead hoping that it would be an improvement on the Carl Magnus Palm one-was I right? WRONG!! Equally repetative photographs as in the first book-dull text and no updated "Voyage" reunion photos either-tell me please then what is the point of these so called new books??? To obviously cash in for big bucks with no consideration of the longtime ABBA fanbase patronisingly dishing up any old stuff they hope we would appreciate that's what! Please save your money- as there is nothing new in this book either-like me you probably have better books in your ABBA collection at home-what a let-down!

This book has a very negative tone throughout. Wouldn’t recommend, buy the ABBA at 50 book by Carl Magnus Palm instead for a balanced view on the band.
