Powerful capacitors.
It is powerful enough to start my 5.0 mustang. I have it hooked up in parallel with a small lithium iron battery. The setup weighs a lot less than the original battery.

charges fast, solid output--cranks my 07 civic!
Pretty powerful module. Actually cranked my 2007 Civic EX and drove it home without the battery connected. Cranked it again via remote start as well (which turns on sidemarkers briefly before cranking). It does appear to bleed somewhat steady right "out of the box"... probably would improve after a dozen or so full charge/discharge cycles. Either way though, not enough retained for an actual battery delete... between keyless entry, aftermarket remote start, and radio--there is too much parasitic draw for that. May be doable with a properly wired high amp-hour battery in parallel though? But as a parallel module to cover sudden demands on the electrical, it works WONDERS. Clamp meter showed it was dumping up to about 65 amps on average during crank cycles, and it completely eliminated annoying voltage dips across the board. For example, when AC kicks in... no stumble or change in lighting--only thing I notice is the sound of the clutch engaging. This would be a perfect core for making a strict boost pack though. Took no time to hit 13+ volts off a standard car charger. And it WILL crank a car with a 1.2kw starter (ie, confirmed with my Civic). It was dropping into 11 volt ranges after a day or so though during initial testing. While it took a long time for an 12v O2 Cool fan to pull it below 6v, it did not hold up overnight when left hooked up to the Civic... couldn't even keep the clock memory on the radio.Wish the caps had markings, or at least some form of documentation as to the exact voltage rating and % tolerance they had. Not even available on the website. I expect they will degrade dramatically next summer when things get hot again down here. Not uncommon to see 95+ before heat index is factored in. So, may have to replace them within a year or so for a 6-cap configuration, or at least a module with individual cap regulation... don't feel too confident with the side-loaded controller setup I am using atm. There is a lot of potential applications for this module... just not the best candidate if someone is looking for a means to get around the need for the heavy lead brick battery in their car.

Work way better than any of those other stereo caps
They're definitely real super caps I use a bunch for an RF amplifier and these things rock and roll
