You'd think that, if you're going to sell stuff via a website, one of the MAIN things to get right would be that the images of your product on the webpage actually matched the product in real life. Right? Well, Clarkes do not appear to have received that memo... These Desert Boots are lovely, but nowhere near the colour advertised by the product image on the webpage. Think less 'brown' and more 'warm, dusky grey' (see photos). Which would be fine... if I hadn't wanted to purchase (and been misled into thinking I WAS purchasing) 'Dark Brown' suede Desert Boots. It is so disappointing that honesty and accuracy are considered of so little importance to big companies like Clarkes — not to mention the frustration their sloppy disregard for truth causes customers. Add to this the cost to the planet of so many unwanted products being sold in bad faith to unwitting customers, and then these having to be returned for a refund. What an utterly irresponsible waste of finite resources fuelled by a business model that prioritises deceitful sales practices over... simply checking the colour accuracy of their product photos! C'mon! Hire an intern, guys! What is the saying… "For want of a nail, the planet was lost...?" I'll be avoiding Clarkes online from now on. It seems they don't know how to work a camera, and so cannot be trusted.

ソールが往年のオリジナルのクレープソールとは違いラフさが感じられず、綺麗に仕上がり過ぎる。 後は紐を通す位置がほんの1cm位低いので足首のホールドが足りないので足が遊ぶ感じがするのが残念！

Questo è il quarto paio di desert boot che acquisto. Trovo questo modello magnifico sotto tutti gli aspetti. La versione evo però è quella che apprezzo di più. Ho le original color cola e sono un po' più rigide come pelle e hanno la suola in caucciù. Poi le Bushacre prodotte in India, più economiche ma molto rigida la pelle. Di buono hanno la pianta larga, quindi per i miei piedi stanchi molto comode. Come già detto le migliori ritengo siano le evo: pelle sfoderata e morbidissima; suola in gomma spessa, quindi più ammortizzante. Unico neo, sono leggermente più abbondanti come lunghezza, ma confrontate con altri marchi europei sono identiche. Da ciò deduco che tra la misura anglosassone e quella europea c'è qualche millimetro di differenza. Queste marroni che recensisco sono del tutto identiche alle blu acquistate lo scorso anno, per cui sono contento. L'unico appunto che faccio è sul colore: nella foto sembrano testa di moro, infatti sono definite dark brown. Realmente appaiono color castoro, quindi direi marrone medio. Comunque sia a me piacciono molto ed essendo esenti da difetti mi ritengo soddisfatto. Spedizione Prime come sempre efficiente, arrivate in un giorno. Aggiunta: Prese anche le evo nere con l'ottima offerta di primavera. Ero restio a comprarle di questo colore, ma devo ricredermi. Sono rimasto assolutamente soddisfatto perché non sono nero intenso, ma tendono più che altro all'antracite scuro. Tra quelle che ho sono sicuramente le più eleganti. Quanto alla comodità si sa che sono fatte benissimo perché la pelle morbida si adatta quasi subito alla forma del piede.
