Trying to grow out my grey hair instead of having to cut my hair I use this with a little of my shine spray and it blends in and looks natural .

I really like it, it looked gorgeous. I have very wavy hair that can curl if I take the time, or straighten. My hair is half way down my back, so being really long it was a little hard to get used to how to apply it. It takes some practice to use.The scent reminds me of a man's soap, like Irish Spring. I don't like the scent, but I love the color so I will still use it.It feels like a hairspray when it is drying on your hair. So if you put in wet, it will keep that wet look (though not glossy like a hair gel). It was vibrant on my very dark/black hair. So far, I prefer to put it on dry hair, then *carefully* brush to even out the color, and then do some playing around to style it. Really like it!!

I had low expectations of this product and I was seriously surprised. I've been cutting and styling my hair for a few years now and my friends know me as that guy with anime hair. My normal go to is Gatsby and Sparks hair dye. I wanted to give my hair a break from bleaching so I tried this. For one, this will hold your hair almost as well as Gatsby. It's not hair wax so if you use too much it'll harden. Secondly, your hair will be streaked with silver. The color consistency will largely depend on your hair color, thickness, and density. I already have pale brown hair (like coffee with a lot of milk) with densely packed thin follicles so my hair looked great because of the density and color. I'd say my hair looked 60% silver and 40% brown in the areas that were streaked with this gel.A lot of people talk about the smell. Yes, it does smell. I haven't found any hair product that doesn't. If this bothers you, you could try putting it on at night. The smell fades out after a few hours. I don't wash my hair very often and it holds for days so putting it on at night is a viable option for short hair.I wouldn't recommend this with longer hair unless you're only looking to color the tips or a small portion.

Only thing I don't like about this is how goopy it gets when you use it, so it can get pretty gross. I bought it for use in my daughters hair to use for her Coraline costume. It was pretty gross cuz her hair got all ratty & nasty but to be fair I think you are only really supposed to use it in boys hair or just certain strands of girls hair- not the entire hair. My boys love to use it! But again, very messy, goopy & gross.

I have shorter hair, not as short as a man's haircut, but still shorter than my ears, and this looked terrible in my hair. I think the ONLY hair it would look good on, would be a short cut that is no longer than 2 inches, or long hair that you just want to do a stripe of color for. On the plus side, I layered A LOT of product on my hair and it still didn't really feel as if I had anything in my hair, so it was very light, but because I have hair that has to be styled, it looked terrible. If you can style your hair with a ton of putty like goop in your hair, than you should be ok. your hair won't look dyed, it will just look like you have streaky paint in your hair. Trying to comb/brush it made it look 10 times worse. I feel you need to have a very specific haircut for this to look good. Gave it 2 stars because it DOES wash out in 1 wash and is very light feeling on your hair. Smells like cologne too.

the demo looks awesome. it even works on dark hair. well...no it does not. I applied it and you can barely see it but yet it feels stiff and impossible to run your hands or brush through it as they show it in the video. Definitely just super strong and sticky gel.

Bought these BRAND NEW! But when I opened the package, then the individual boxes, 2 of them, the gold and silver, where open.. as in there was no protecting cover under the unscrewed cap. And, half to over half of the product was already gone!I don't know what they, as in the company that's selling these, are playing.. but, I order NEW product, and I got half used product!I am now looking into finding out how to get some of my money back.Other than that, used my kids hair 1st for fun.. used a lot of the blue, one that had the protecting cover, cause my kiddo has thick hair.. going to blow-dry it so it can dry faster, then brush and style. The blue looks amazing!I just wish I got all unopened product, and not just 2 outta 4 unopened product.

This stuff is good in theory, but poor in practical application.The color is a little bit alien...you know, in that un-human, nobody-really-has-hair-this-color sort of way. And that's fine enough. But the consistency is gluey; a bit like rubbing pizza dough over and into your head.Halloween application, maybe. But outside of that, your head is going to stand out because it looks weird. And not in a good way.
