The Originals: The Complete Fourth Season (DVD)

It came in one piece and it plays just fine ( although I’ve Only had it for a month)so far!!

Not much to say. If you’ve seen the seasons before you will like this one too

I started watching this TV show 4 or 5 months ago, I originally got into vampires from Vampire Diaries, but when The Original Family came into the scene in vampire diaries, it completely shifted my interest from Stephan and Damon to Klaus and Elijah. They just seemed the amplified versions to me, the strongest and the most ruthless vampires of all time, however not always so heartless murdery but romantic, classic and royal at the same time. The language and their accent :)) sure had a big impact on these five stars i am giving, but also i loved how it ended in season 4. Their redemption on all the bad things they did was them facing greater evils (Hallow) than themselves and they stood united to the very end. What was fascinating for me that it did not end with some cheesy-romantic-everybody-married-happily-ever-after as if they were the best people in the planet and they get redemption regardless all the evil they did. But it ended realistically, as if it was an allagory depecting our own personal lives, that all of our actions comes with a karma. The notion of family and Always and Forever is just a nice touch by the writer, and well-shown by all members of The Originals family. How they say it and act upon it to protect one another, cuz no matter what, your family is the one who would always come for you and protect you and love you unconditionally. I loved how Klaus's eyes go hybrid when somebody threatend his Hope. and I loved when Elija or Klaus slapped the head off their enemies, really nice touch.I would call this an inspiring Tv show. One may argue that killing and blood sucking represents violance and is not good for us, but the truth is those parts serves only as a container for the story to reveal itself to you. And this story is about family, loving, standing united, hope and redemption, which are all elements of our real life.

Addicted to the Mikaelson family, I'll admit the Hollow isn't their best season, but I'm in it for the long haul lol. Totally worthy for the collection still, nonetheless. At this point, I already got to ponder Hope's existance before she came to be, then watched some of her growing up storyline here, too. In season 4, shes 8. However, I'm following through with Legacies to boot, currently airing/watching middle of season 4, and I'm rewatching it all- Determined to figure out the latest villain in our spin-off of a spin-off lol I want to kno who it is before they reveal it, I'm without a doubt going to try. Great series

This spin-off from The Vampire Diaries (which was cancelled in 2017) has proven, at least for me, to be far more interesting than the show from which it was spun off. The characters are far more interesting and don't have the teen angst that propelled the most successful seasons of The Vampire Diaries. All of the main characters in this show are flawed (deeply flawed) but all also seem to have at least one redeeming quality -- and it's that deeply buried goodness that will hook you and keep you watching. Despite their, at times, violent and despicable behavior, you will find yourself caring about this family and rooting for their survival.If The Originals was not renewed for another season (a possibility as it ended), it at least had an ending that wasn't totally unsatisfying. My hope is, however, that it will be given at least one more year to possibly wrap things up in an even better (and happier) manner. But as a show, this one is definitely binge worthy and worth your time.

It is good. I am glad to see that the producers kept the young female actress away from the fake horror. The Originals is for adults not kids. But, good short 4th season. To me the best of all four. I love the chemistry the actors and the actress's have with each other. I am trying to be careful not to give spoilers for those that have not seen the 4th season. So lets say for me. Great things happen for some and bad things happen for others. In my opinion the way they should have.And I personally would prefer the character Davina with Danielle Campbell over Riley Voelkel that plays Freya. Also we don't need to see more of The Vampire diaries cast. Having Paul Wesley show up one time was one time too many. They had eight seasons that's enough.Hopefully season 5 will be as good as season 4.

For New Orleans, a very rare five years of peace. This is not to last. Now comes the greatest challenge ever. After fifteen hundred years, INADU about to awake - she The Hollow, with devoted ruthless followers in readiness. Time for sworn enemies to forget their differences. Marcel and Vincent need the Mikaelsons. Together they may defeat the gathering menace. New ingredient this time round is Hope, little daughter of Klaus and Hayley. She has the makings of the world's most powerful witch ever. No wonder she is to prove The Hollow's prime target....Thirteen episodes, this season enhanced by Summer Fontana's performance as Hope and by Klaus showing such paternal concern.Although reluctantly deciding after Season 3 to quit the series (too much "same old"), curiosity tempted me back, this being the last season and all. (Which it has turned out not to be, although the final episode seems to represent a worthy rounding off.)Fans will welcome here much the same as before, practically every episode containing "deaths" of key characters who are promptly back again. Some may feel a real opportunity has been missed when The Hollow eventually arrives - here surely a creature to inspire terror the moment glimpsed. Instead she is depicted as yet another young lady trendily garbed, looking as though she has strolled straight out of make-up (which is probably so). Is that really the best the creators could manage?Bonuses include the 2016 Comic-Con Panel reflecting on Season 3 and briefly hinting what can now be expected. As last time, this is where Joseph Morgan (Klaus) disarmingly demonstrates a humour and charm that one wishes were evident in the show itself.Worth watching for Hope, she deserving that prominence on the box set's evocative cover - standing barefoot in a circle of dead crows.

Ich bin The Vampire Diaries Fan der ersten Stunde und normalerweise eher skeptisch, sobald Serien ein Spin Of bekommen.In diesem Fall liebe ich The Originals aber mindestens genauso sehr wie The Vampire Diaries und auch die vierte Staffel ist unglaublich STARK!Schade, dass nur noch eine weitere Staffel folgen soll, ich kann mir gar nicht vorstellen welche Serie jemals wieder so toll werden kann...

Another great season of The Originals. Although this season only had 13 episodes, I found they were too the point and had a decent plot. I enjoyed meeting Hope as an older kid with her own personality and I swooned with Klaus and Hope interacted. The cast once again brought their A game. Joseph Morgan, Riley Voekel,Daniel Gilles and Charles Michael Davis continue to impress in their roles, the setting of New Orleans remains fascinating. Overall, a wonderful season. The extras were excellent this season including the last years comic-con panel and bloopers!

Was soll man sagen.The Originals ist eine verdammt gute Serie.Deutlich besser als Vampire Diaries. Erwachsener, Reifer, Ernster.Die Schauspieler geben echt alles um ihre Rollen perfekt zu spielen.Man sollte Vampire Diaries aber vorher schon gesehen haben bevor man mit the Originals beginnt.

L’ho preso per collezione perché non è in lingua italiana.L’ho trovato in offerta a 6€ circa quindi non ho potuto evitare. Aspetto una cosa del genere per la 5ª. Voglio la serie completa perché la adoro troppo. Spero che almeno la riportino su prime video!
