I bought this blanket because I liked the warm brown color on one side and the fuzzy side being dark not white like most dog blankets. I have a black dog that sheds. I knew it would be light weight by the reviews but the size is not right. It is 43.5x 30...a little off. I didn't quite visualize what that size would look like since they had a photo of a German Shepherd Dog laying on the blanket and it looked pretty large. My dog is a Gordon Setter...only a 48 pound dog, much smaller than a GSD. I should have checked to see if that measurement would be too small for my dog. I think it would be an okay blanket for a smaller dog though. My dog does not mind that it'is a bit small, he loved it right away, burled his face in it, bunched it up and used it for a pillow..

Neither one of my cats care for this blanket. I'm still rating it 5 stats because it is very nice quality. One side is a soft fabric the other is kind of like sheep fur. This washed up nicely and became even softer. No residue found in the washer or dryer, I expected it to shed but it held up exceptionally well. Hoping cats will take to it, if not I'll use it for the coach, cats can be fussy, no reason to downgrade the rating because of them. This is a great blanket, do not hesitate to purchase.

My dog loves this blanket. It's so big, plush and warm enough for her to cuddle up in bed with.This is the second time I purchase this item and she is happy with it. I've washed it many times in the washer and dryer and it still looks and feels great.

My older Sheltie has developed arthritis and has trouble getting comfortable when she lies down. I noticed she kept lying on my heated throw whenever it had fallen to the floor, even when it was turned off, so I set off to look for a similar material in a smaller size, because it's not like she is spoiled or anything! This fit the bill! It is a good size, very soft and seems fluffy enough to suit her. And now I can put own throw away before the wires break.

I have purchased 4 of these blankets so far. I rescue and also have several chronically ill pets. These blankets are attractive, provide softness and warmth, and they launder like a dream. I use them inside pet beds and cover furniture with them (cat and dog sofas and their favorite cushions on our chairs and sofas). The microfleece blankets provide comfort to the animals we care for and protect our furniture without being an eyesore.

We are using this banket to keep the fur off of the back of the couch. Our 2-year-old Havanese has chosen the chair nearest the window as his favorite napping spot and now he has a cozy blanket to keep him comfy while he slumbers. THe blanket washes well and is just the right size.

The pictures don't show the size very well, it is a smaller dog blanket. It worked perfectly for my 22lb dog and he absolutely loves it, it's his new favorite blanket. It is very warm and soft, and also holds up well through the washer/dryer.

The product title included the words - microplush, Sherpa and snuggle, immediately I thought of a nice and cozy thick blanket. I purchased this blanket for my mom's boston terrier, whom we absolutely love. He enjoys laying around on the aforementioned kind of blankets. I ask my mom about the blanket and she said it was very thinly made. I am very disappointed and certainly will not be making any purchases from this individual and/or company.
