Shetland: Series 7 [DVD]

I do not think that I have ever watched the whole of any crime series in one go, but this was so gripping that I watched it until the end. The scenery was even better than before, albeit rather gloomy at times, but with the background music it all adds to the atmosphere of the series. As always the storyline had a few red herrings, and embraced topical subjects such as eco warriors and the dangers of oil spillages. I was pleased to see Julie Graham back, and Douglas Henshall is a superb actor. I would have liked a short résumé of the previous series just to jog my memory, but once it got going I sat glued to the tv! So, who will replace Jimmy Perez? I hope that another series is in the pipeline ( pardon the pun ), but thinking about the actors who took over the main role in Death In Paradise they all blended in in their different ways very well. Let us hope that the next chief of Shetland will do the same. Quality television, and worth five stars plus!

I’ve loved the complete package from the first episode of the first series to get he last. This series continued the high quality and has been a definite 5 star series throughout. I dropped one star for the rather tacky ending that seemed very rushed. From someone who kept saying that their like was the police service to suddenly leave it. Shame, it slightly spoiled the episode

I have quite a collection, but will admit that if there are more without Henshall??? I'm not very good when new faces take over, I'm hoping this doesn't happen with SHETLAND, i do enjoy this program very much, glad to add to my collection delivery was when stated, would recommend this product and seller, i can watch these again and again, i know lots of people who can't but I consider myself one of the fortunate ones who can and get great pleasure in the winter months, I'm never ever stuck for something to view.

Shetland is one of my favorite series. The acting is very good and the music is extraordinary.
