I purchased these knives because I loved the look, the stand and the promise of quality stainless steel. After less than a month, they started to rust. I've only hand washed and dried these knives. I sent a note to the seller who told me I needed to contact Amazon to arrange for return. They seemed less than concerned I had an issue with them.

Looked very elegant however two knives broke in two weeks.

Wow, for the price you can't beat this! This looks like a $100 set in comparison to my Fabreware wooden block set. The knives are solid metal which I love and the stand is clean, Modern, & Shiney. First use and the knife cut through oven cooked pork loin like it was butter! The knife sharpener has two sharpening areas: Coarse and Fine. Remember to hand wash only and wipe away any water afterwards so they won't get any rust spots and this set will last you a long time.Edit:After 2 years, not a single rust spot. Still love the sound they make as you pull the knife out of the holder.

The set of knives are not stainless steel it gets rusted in less then a week .after two weeks in use the rust is not so bad the spots came off and its still sharp

I had these knifes for about 2 months, and tonight as I was making chicken for dinner it broke! Not once but twice! I really love the display, but I had knifes from walmart that last longer and work better than these!

Love these knives. They stay sharp, and I use them everyday for all types of things. Only once did I have to sharpen them, had them about 3 months now. I had a set that cost me 1250 dollars and I like these knives better.

I purchased these before I moved in my new apartment so when I finally opened them it was too late to return. The first time I washed them they rusted and started to disintegrate. This has been the worst product I have ever gotten off amazon

The only reason I gave it a 4 out of a 5 is the fact that the base that comes with it is very unstable and tends to fall over. Other than that that's a wonderful and fantastic bargain.
