Tastes great, works perfectly
Brilliant starter culture, worked perfectly. It tastes fantastic, far superior to what you buy in the supermarket and much less plastic! The thing I love most about this one is it's a heritage culture, which means you can keep reculturing it from each batch. I keep a little bit aside in the fridge from each fresh batch and use it to start my next batch. I've been doing this for months now.

Epic Fail
This failed . Brand new maker and very clean . Just have milk after 24 hours

1 pot from 1.7 of milk
Not particularly impressed would be helpful to actually include instructions rather than codes to scan. Finished up with one pot of yogurt and a huge amount of whey.

Lovely
This made absolutely beautiful yoghurt. I used uht milk, and it doesn't have the after taste I find when I usually make my own yoghurt using that kind of milk. I'm not sure how much yoghurt I need to add to milk for the next batch, as the instructions don't say

Tastes delicious
Made using a simple yoghurt maker, added the powder to whole UHT milk which ferments at a stable temperature for 10 hours. I like to then strain it through three cheesecloths overnight in the fridge; the result is a really thick, dense, Greek yoghurt that doesn’t taste tangy or sour, just deliciously smooth & creamy. A big favourite in our house, I make a batch every day to keep up with demand, reserving a heaped tablespoon of yoghurt each time for the next lot.

No better than using Sansbury's own yoghurt as a starter
Not even as good a Saisbury's. Yoghurt made with this didn't work at all (failed to set). I reverted to using saved yoghurt from an earlier batch I had made using Sainsbury's own yoghurt as a starter and that worked perfectly.
