Perfect fit
Installed this on my Mazda CX-5, works like it should. Very happy I found this on Amazon and with the help from YouTube saved a lot of time and money.

Fixed the issue
My father in law's Mazda wouldn't shut off all the way. We ordered this part at the advice of a DIY YouTube video and it worked perfectly. It shuts off without an issue now. I only wish we found it two replaced car batteries ago.

Works as advertised
This was easy to install and an improvement over the stock module. No more fiddling with the shifter to turn off my car.

Thank you!
This saved me sooo much frustration. My Mazda cx5 radio would not turn off when I turned my car off. Googled/youtube what could be the problem and found out it was this the transmission switch. It was pretty easy to switch out by simply watching a YouTube video. Now my radio turns off when I turn my car off

Budget replacement
First off, this is not an OEM part so it is priced for value. Fit wise, this one matches and will drop right in to the existing slot.Always curious, when I took apart the original OEM version, it had gobs of lubricant on all the contact points, this knock off had little to none. This value part functioned fine in my car, but the greater value was in opening the plastic housings and just swapping the failed plunger in the OEM part for the new plunger in this value part. This keeps all of the original Mazda electronic parts, PCB, lubricants, etc (all the 'good' bits) and just replaces the plastic molded plunger. It's easy to release the tabs on both parts to accomplish this and snap it back together. Just mind the springs and how it came apart.I'll keep this knockoff as a spare if the OEM ever fails in other ways and see if I can bolster the worn plunger so it functions properly again and have a fully functional spare.
