This is smaller than we expected, but since my daughter, with small hands, will be the one using it, that was fine. Very well made, with an easy to grip handle. The blade arrived very sharp. The rasps on the sides are two levels of aggressiveness. My daughter isn't thinking this will replace a farrier, but may reduce the frequency of visits. Her horse is a mustang, and, as is typical of mustangs, no shoes are required. Good knife.

I just got my order for three of these two out of the three had what looked like grinder scratches on the blade which they are small and just cosmetic but sturdy knife

This knife is gorgeous all the way from the leather holster to the bone handle! Pictures taken after opening. I live on a farm and usually just carry around a straight blade, but this knife has allowed me to upgrade. I can cut hay strings on my round bales,trim a random overgrown goat or sheep hoof ect. Multiple uses, super sharp and easy to carry around! Stunning craftsmanship!

While I won’t be using this for much “bull cutting”, the blade is very functional and very sharp. Also very durable and useful for many applications. I believe these knives are made in Pakistan, instead of China where so many are being produced these days, just FYI. This knife appears very well made and is very beautiful, and should last a long time.
