Can you use very Hot Water without damaging the pump?

I would not suggest too hot because you may burn yourself, but I have used water between 105 and 110 degrees Fahrenheit without any issues with the pump.

Can I use vinegar water in this product?

I am not sure. That is something to ask the manufacture. I would assume you could use diluted vinegar. I personally use Epson salt.

Does this need to hook up to your water? Or do you simply just fill it with water?

Just fill with water, it helped my husband greatly. He put epsom salts in the warm water.

How long do the batteries last?

I tried to turn it on continuously for 1 hour. Depends on your AA battery.
