We bought these cameras for my brother. He said they were easy to install and looked very realistic. The hardware came with the cameras. He was very happy with them and their look and performance. My husband and I thought looked great too and very realistic.

These cameras are a much better than the ones I had 10nyears ago which were metal and rusted. They stopped working. These new was are special hard plastic and have a solar panel on top of the shade to charge recharabl batteries solar does not require direct sunlight so even if their in the shade there is some electric outlook. I recommend these even if their under an eve. If they don't get enough charge you can recharge and save money on batteries. There is a fast charging unit at Amazon that charges up to 8 AA OR AAA batteries all one size or some of each size ar same time it is USB powered an inexpensive. The design allows very easy positioning. I found it much easier to unscrew the one thumb screw to remove the camera from the holder making it much easier to mount and screw in the base. Two things I would recommend for improvement the top shade of with the solar panel on top is difficult to line back up and put back on after installing the batteries. Secondly the red flashing light should be brighter. It's fine in darkness but not visible on a bright day.. Summary, I would buy these cameras again. I might even decide to buy a few more. One more thing you don't have to use rechargable batteries if you think the solar won't get enough ligh. You can use regular batteries. Personally, I think the rechargable last longer. Duracell has a 10 year warranty and against leakage and corrosion. There are many copy cat cameras. Be sure you buy this brand.

These look real enough to fool almost anyone. The blinking led and the fake data cable really adds to the realism. It does require two rechargeable batteries to run at night and the little solar panel will keep those going for a long long time.

Excellent experience and quality product. As expected. All happy, especially the wife.

Looks real, but after only 2 weeks, the blinking light stopped working on 1 of the four I purchased. Like the others, it had fresh batteries and was placed in a protected spot. I surely hope that the solar power of the others works and that they are not only working on the batteries. Too expensive for this to happen. Also, only after purchasing, did I see that the item is not meant to be placed in harsh weather conditions. I'd look for something more quality...

Looks like the real deal, should fool all but the most technically adept thieves. Blinking red light should make your run of the mill plunderers think twice and move on to another opportunity. Device looks good, is lightweight, not sturdy, but it doesn’t need to be as long as it’s positioned far enough away so it can’t be too closely inspected. Should be an adequate deterrent for lots of situations. I did not install these at my residence, but it’s what a customer wanted.

I put 3 up in a town home community I live in outside. We had a snow and ice storm 2 weeks ago. The camera lights still work and they weren't damaged at all. Pretty amazing considering the price. They've been up for about 2 months now.

I am the manager a gun range with over a 1000 members, 5% of them are real pigs. These fake cameras have changed some of the bad behavior such as members leaving their spent brass on the ground to breaking safety rules. It is true that 5% of a group cause 95% of the problems...if these cameras cut that number down to 2% it is well worth it. These cameras are real enough looking that a couple of my friends mentioned how nice it was to have security cameras on the gun range. If anyone ask where the footage is stored, we tell them the cloud.

Not impressed to see the photos advertising the camera to be a waterproof design and then warning on box tells you to shelter from mositure. There is absolutely no waterproof seal on the top of the unit were the batteries are installed, which just adds to the concern. I would borderline that on false advertisement?
