How to prevent pans set from sticking?

Thanks for your question and your interest in our 3-ply kitchen cookware sets. There are some tips of nonstick below.
First of all, cooking over medium-low heat, please drop some water, If you can see the water form to one or two beads, it means the perfect temperature. Then you can remove the water and add oil, the oil heating to the bottom of the pot, turn the low fire.

Stainless steel with care will last a lifetime and more. 
If you have not used stainless steel and are used to non-stick, there is a learning curve to cooking with stainless steel pots and pans.The biggest thing is getting used to heat adjustment. These pans heat up quickly, even on medium. So make sure you aren't overheating while preheating. Overheat will lead to badly stuck and burned food. 
Cleaning Tips:
Cool down the pans completely before washing. 
①Spots are inevitable because of the hard water, and sometimes the "rainbow" effect is too. Soak them in a vinegar water for up to five minutes, they will shine like new.
②For hardcore messes like burned on oil residue or scorched food, Barkeepers Friend works well. A small sprinkle and a little water with light scrubbing, it takes to return everything back to like new condition.
And please remember NEVER heat the cookware set while they are wet, which is easy to lead to discoloring. Wipe them dry before cooking.

First time I use a stainless steel set, are the sides and every part of the exposed metal stainless? How should I get preheating for better cooking？

Yes, all stainless steel, no any coating. Please refer to the video which makes a detailed introduction. 
You can get these pans cleaner than a non-stick pan. Tips to avoid sticking and preheating:
① Cold Pan & Cold Oil: for vegetables
② Hot Pan & Hot Oil: for meat
Preheating: Heat the pan until a drop of water dances as a bead on the surface of the pan. Water will sizzle and splatter before the temperature is reached. Add oil and swirl to coat. Then you can adjust the temperature to suit the food you want to cook.
