Well made antenna. Put it on a tri-mag mount (made up name), put it on my pickup and it was perfect for cb band out of the box.

So far these have been the worst antennas I have ever owned. They will not stay tight in my K40 mounts I have on my Dodge. All the hardware seems to work itself loose and the set screws holding the whips loosened enough I took the whips off as I was afraid they would be lost. Shouldn't have to use loctite on antennas to keep the parts together!! About ready to chuck them out and go find me a set of Wilson or K40 to mount. Love my President radios but these antennas leave a lot to be desired!!

The antenna base fills with water every time it rains works great when it's dry

There's too much stress applied to the clear plastic base where the copper coil lives. I don't trust it not to snap off or take on water. It feels very flimsy. But my primary problem is that the stinger is not long enough. Using a RigExpert AA-35 antenna analyzer, this antenna natively resonates at its longest setting only down to 28.500 MHz on my truck and only down to 28.700 MHz on my Jeep. The stinger is too short to make it useful on 11m. So it's completely useless to me as anything other than a 10m ham radio antenna. It doesn't have functionality on 11m when used on either of my two vehicles. It also lacks the tuning rings you see on their cheaper antenna, the President Maryland. I had to revert back to using my cheaper Browning BR-140 antenna.
