This exquisitely hand dyed Perle cotton eight thread was produced by Stef Francis in Britain. Perle eight is a medium weight. The colors are marvelous. The skein is 40 meters in length. It is made with the highest quality long staple, Egyptian, combed, gassed, and mercerised cotton. It is perfect for embroidery and other fiber arts projects. If you like to put thicker threads in the bobbin of your sewing machine to do bobbin work (stitching with your work upside down on the sewing machine), this Perle cotton works very well.
