Vibrant color
This worked awesome for a blue color! The picture of it in the contain was the night before, and the picture on the cupcakes was how vibrant it got overnight. I highly recommend for natural coloring.

My new favorite drink to mix with coffee & milk
I saw some ube advertisements on Facebook but I don’t want other sweeteners or favor, and I want organic. So I searched on Amazon. Glad I found this one made in USA. There is ube made from another country, but I don’t really trust that country. When I first try this on I really like it. I love it even more when I mix with my coffee, milk &cocoa for morning drink. It fills me up and I finish a cup quickly and forgot I already drink it. I love ube in general, so the taste is perfect. It is still powder like, which I don’t mind as long as it is clean and quality product. I don’t know what is different between ube and purple jam, as long as it high in antioxidants or other health benefits.

Easy to use and incorporate into my sourdough
This was great to make my dough a different color and not having to use food coloring. I don’t think it has any taste, the texture was a little more gritty than rice flour but not anything to worry about. I used it to color my sourdough loaf and it turned out exactly how I wanted it to. I just sprinkled it on top of my dough prior to baking, so it is very easy to use. It’s good quality as the color didn’t change or fade after baking either.

High-quality but wish there was instructions
I do really like this you can tell a high-quality and the taste is good. The only thing I don’t love is that there’s no instructions and as someone who’s a new beginner to using powders for their drink, I use it in my Matcha or my latte that’s a little bit. Frustrating because I have no idea what type of ratio I’m supposed to use or if I’m supposed to use hot or cold when I do use it for a cold foam, it does look comfy, but it doesn’t taste clumpy if that makes any sense because I’m probably using it wrong and I don’t know it, but I do recommend it and for someone who knows what they’re doing. They probably could do it better than me lol but I will continue buying it and recommending it regardless, and I’ll just have to keep learning on the proper way to use it.

Love the purple color
I haven't used this product many times—only once or twice so far. I tried it to make a two-color bread, and the purple color it created was beautiful. While the bag isn't large and the price is on the higher side, for my occasional use, this package will last me a long time.

Ube (yam) and Purple Sweet Potato ARE NOT THE SAME THING
Ube and purple sweet potatoes may look similar due to their vibrant purple color, but they are distinct. Here’s what sets them apart: Origin and Plant Family: Ube (also known as purple yam) is native to Southeast Asia and has been part of Polynesian cuisine for thousands of years. Purple sweet potatoes trace their origins to Central America and belong to the morning glory family of plants1. Texture and Taste: Ube has a rough, bark-like skin and is largely considered inedible. Its flesh is violet and has a nutty flavor. Purple sweet potatoes have a thin, smooth skin that’s easier to eat. Their flesh becomes deeper purple after cooking, and they have a sweet, nutty taste23. Nutritional Content: Ube is high in vitamin C, antioxidants, and resistant starch. Purple sweet potatoes are a good source of beta carotene, but the purple variants contain less than orange sweet potatoes. They also have anthocyanin, the antioxidant responsible for their purple color4. Disappointed to find out that the PACKAGE states 100% UBE, but in actuality it is Sweet Potato Powder.
