Very occasionally I need punch holes in tougher materials than paper. QUite often I've used an awl and a hammer but that isn't really satisfactory. I needed to punch a new hole in a nice watch strap and so looked for a leather punch tool. This one from HimaPro seemed to do the job.It is a punch with six individual spokes of different sizes. It is built like a tank and punches through leather very easily. The spokes are a bit stiff to twist to different positions but that makes sense as they don't want to slip in use. The tool comes with two spare punch plates, a small philips screwdriver, a ruler and an awl.This si well made, does the job it's designed to do admirably and is great value for money.Highly recommended.

It punches through leather like nothing. We used it to punch a few more notches in the chin strap of a thick leather bridle that was too big for our horse to tighten it up. We also used it to punch holes in a thick leather belt that was to big for my husband. You do need to clean the leather bits out of the punch part of the tool after you are done using it or the punch can get clogged. The enclosed tools help with that. I was very pleased with the punch set for the price. It is well made and punches through leather easily. For the price, this is well worth it.

I bought this to adjust a few belt holes. It's a good quality tool. I probably won't use it much so it should last me forever. It came highly recommended and it was not the most expensive hole puncher nor the least expensive, so I think reviewers believe it to be the best buy for the money. A leather worker might want something more versatile or durable, but from my limited experience, it's all one needs unless one is a professional.

So far, I like everything. I used it to punch holes in shaker tape and it worked beautifully.

I received a really nice coach leather belt as a gift. Beautiful belt but I was in need of another hole for the perfect fit. There was no way in heck I wanted a butchered looking hole on my nice fashion belt so I decided to purchase this. I read through the instructions even though the tool use is pretty intuitive. A few seconds later, I had a nice professional looking hole. It looked just like the others on the belt.Once I finished with my belt, I was off to work on one of my dog's collars. It is a nice leather collar that again didn't have quite enough holes to make it snug. This tool put another perfect and professional looking hole. In two uses, I think it has pretty much paid for itself. As far as durability, no clue how it will hold up. I don't see myself needing it for some time again but it's nice to have. The little pressure plates seem like they may wear from excessive use but extras are included in the package. I'm glad I got this because normally I would have just taken some household tool to make the hole and we know how crappy those can turn out at times.

I needed this set to punch holes in a bunch of cardboard tags and then put grommets in them. Worked perfectly. The punch is really the best part. It seems to cut through the cardboard very well. The grommet setter requires a little more muscle than I have, but my hands are pretty wimpy. To fix that I just put the grommet in it, lined it up on my cardboard, then put it on the ground and gave it a little whack with a hammer. Worked every time.

Very handy, very useful tool in daily life. In the past I always had to bring my son's new belts to a local shoe repair store to punch additional holes in order to fit his waist, now with this tool I can easily do it on my own. This tool can also be used in many other household repairs or garden work.The product also comes with a pricker, a Phillips screwdriver, a ruler and two punch plate replacements which makes it a complete took kit for various purpose. Highly recommend.
