Like most Americans I take the crazy warnings on labels these days with cautious stride. This product is no different with flammable warnings, birth defects and possible cancer warnings I chose to use it anyway. With that said, if I'm going to risk life and possibly have a child with an extra arm I would expect it to work and it does not. Don't waste your time or risk your health for a product that doesn't work or that you can not return to Amazon because it seems to be their policy to ship harmful/hazardous materials but will not accept return of product for the very same issue!

Stickers are fine, adhesion / vulcanization is perfectly all right. I've patched more than 50 tires over the last 10 years, and I can honestly say that if everyone got the same kit I did, most bad reviewers do something wrong. (I've seen people try to glue them on upside down, or forget to take off the protective sheet, etc.)The tire levers however, that's a different story. I don't have a mountain bike or otherwise super tight tire, just a normal city bike style wheel with a Schwalbe (pretty much the industry standard) tire on it. While trying to lift it over the rim, two of the three plastic levers broke before the tire even was over the rim. Horrible, horrible quality that immediately diminishes my rating to 1 star, because it downright makes it impossible to fix a tire if you can't even get it off of the wheel. I needed to ask around in the street to get a better quality set.I do not recommend this set to anyone. You can get the vulcanizing stickers and rubber solution for way cheaper, and the levers aren't worth having even if you got paid.Do yourself a favor and buy a metal set instead.

The patches did not hold. I tried 2 different innertubes and both patches failed. I will be ordering new inner tubes.Amazon will not take this product back I f you want to avoid a lot of frustration stay away from this product.I would gladly pay double for USA products instead of cheap China junk all the time.

Package says this product “may cause cancer” and “may cause heritable genetic damage.” What??? Why?

Several days ago I was on an extremely hot 100.2 degree 20 mile road bike ride.  In the course, I had 2 flats.  One was a puncture the other was a bad repair from a previous flat over a month ago.  I just purchased RocRide’s Inner Tube Repair Patch kit to put in my utility pack, since the last kit was over 2 years old.  I always carry a repair kit when I go on any ride, especially when it’s this hot.  It worked really well and I just wanted to let everyone know that they’re compact, lightweight and with all the essentials to remove the tire and repair a flat in minutes.Dr A

My wife and I bought two new bikes a year ago, so the tires were new. Just over a month ago I finally bought this tire repair kit, feeling truly lucky that in a year we have had no flats. Just in time! In the last month we have had 3 flat tires, two at home (morning after a long ride) and one on the road. The kit provides everything needed to remove/replace the tire and repair a flat. Our holes were small, so we used the smallest patches. First finding the hole, then scuffing the area with the included metal scraper, then applying the glue, then about 3-4 minutes later the patch. All 3 repairs went well and are holding just fine. 5 stars easily.UPDATE: October, 2020 - Well, we just bought our second patch kit, because we actually used up all of the patches. We put a lot of miles on our bikes. Patching tires (or in our case, inner tubes) is just so easy with this kit. I like also that it's compact and goes with us on every ride. Again, my 5-star rating still holds up for us.

I must have a bad batch of glue. I followed the directions 3 separate times even after watching multiple youtube videos about how to do it. My glue does not dry even after 10 hours. Every guide I've seen shows it is completely dry and usually within a few minutes. Mine becomes tacky like rubber cement even if left overnight. It never seals the edges completely. Wasted 3 patches on 3 different tries before giving up and buying a new inner tube instead.

Of the FIVE packages I ordered, only TWO included the advertised scuffer. On top of that, I found out quickly that that the included tire levers are far from heavy duty -- one of them snapped in half the first time I used it to leverage a tire over my rim. I might as well have tried using a pretzel!The one redeeming thing about this product is the generous supply of patches included. They just need to up their game in the areas I cited.

What I need was the two inch patch for a snake bit.All I got was just two packs of six 1" tiny Round Patches and glue. No other accessories.
