This review is for a Wi-Fi yes you heard me right a Wi-Fi 14 Pod Hydroponics Growing System with LED Grow Light that raises up to 20.6". It has an automatic Timer, Plants Germination Kit with Pump System. I got this because I wanted to try one that’s equipped with Wi-Fi and I like that it’s got 14 pods. I haven’t downloaded the app yet but have used it for other Wi-Fi technology, and it’s an easy app to use.Ok, let’s get down to features; the app lets you control the grow lights, and the pump running time depending on the stage of your booty. I don’t know about you, but I have so many things to take care of so having the app remind me when to add more water and nutrients that is priceless to me. There are different grow modes and a telescoping light that you raise and lower depending on the stage the plants are at. I took a picture of the light at the four different heights so you can see how heigh your booty can grow.As summer comes to a close, I like that I can use this anytime of the year to grow indoors. I also don’t like growing outside there are just many bugs and I feel like with hydroponics I have more control indoors. The only thing I would add is the directions are really small, but I realized when taking pictures that I could look at the photos and magnify them. When magnifying I was able to better understand how to set up and plug in the pump. Finally, I plugged the telescoping rod in for the pictures and when trying to take it out I didn’t have any luck. It’s not a biggie but it would be nice to be able to store it back in the box when not in use. Great starter kit for growing my veggies and fruits. I feel like it's perfect for people new to hydroponic growing and also for experienced growers. I love the large capacity of this. I'm able to grow 14 plants at once! It's super easy to fill up with water and the water pump is not loud and disturbing. The lighting is bright. I have it set on a timer with designated settings for both my fruits and vegetables-- depending on what I have growing in the month. I'm very happy with this product. I can't wait to get another one!

I enjoy hydroponic gardening so I was more than happy to take the opportunity to review this system. It is easy to set up and seedlings sprouted quickly in this system. They seem to respond to the light positively. Even though this system has 14 pods, I learned from experience that if you grow tomatoes, only choose the dwarf variety and don't use no more than three pods in this system because tomatoes tend to grow to very large and tall. Another thing to note are those little holes. You want to cover unused pod openings and all those little holes to prevent algae growth.

The documentation is a little weak. The pictures on the Amazon site fill in some of the blanks. It also seems that the product list is missing a few items that are actually included. I have asked 3 questions but never got answers. I did find out the answers by looking at other similar manufacturers on Amazon.I would have rated 5 due to the ease of installation and the great app. I have used " Smart Life" the app that controls the lights and motor pump cycle timings before. I have the unit 40 feet from the router and it functions perfectly.I put this as a courtesy and will include a few photos to show the placement of the motor . The pump system and placement is not in the instruction manual. The originals were the size of a postage stamp. Very very tiny .. I had to use jewelers loupe to see if it was enlargeable. You should be able to hover over my photo and read what is necessary.I had to enlarge the manual 100% and then divide the page in quarters and then enlarge that another 100% in order to read a pretty important part of the directions. It truly was quite tiny.. Some letters were .5mm or less. Fortunately this was only on one critical page. The rest were workable. I will inclued pictures for those who buy and don't have a way to enlarge. There was only that one tiny manual.Now the good.. I had to go to other sites to get general directions as I am totally new to hydroponic gardening. I love the ease of checking the water level.IT IS SILENT.. so much so that the only way i know it is running is to look at the led on the top and see it is lit up Directions did not say how long to run it so I am doing 30 minutes on and 30 minutes off.I checked current draw and it is barely discernable . I will update as I learn more. I think that the complaints above are certainly not deal breakers. Dont forget seeds are not included.Hope this helps.. Cheers

Advanced wifi does not work with this item

I received the Indoor Smart Garden as a gift and was very excited to set it up and get growing. However, I was quickly disappointed. The directions are poor at best, the app doesn't work, no seeds were provided. The directions barely mention the pump-"plug in the pup cord-no instructions on how to put it in, where the filter or rubber attachment goes, instruct you to move the plants up and down and not move the light-impossible as the plants don't move and the light goes up and down. Theinstructions say not to remove labels from the seed pods-there are no labels on the seed pods . The instructions mention Cotton Blocks-there are no cotton blocks included. Very frustrating. Even going online provided little help. So sad.

The media could not be loaded.  This has a nice effective light that even grows plants outside around it. From an app I can control the time it turns off or on and I control in a continuous loop how often the pump turns on and how long the duration is. I can also change the type of light from the app as well as manually. It extends pretty far up.

The instructions are bare minimum- there is no info about how to set up the filter. The seed pods are not labeled either. It doesn’t take up much room. There is an app to Sync the grower which is nice. Once set up is done it’s easier toUse. The technology is good to have to learn how to grow better. The product itself is well made and durable.
