Wish I had this when I was becoming an adult
The media could not be loaded. I got this book for a friend's son's graduation. He washed a red sock with his new graduation clothes. Looking through it when I received the book, I knew it is a must have book for everyone. All future graduation adults will get this as a present from me.

Awesome Gift!
The media could not be loaded. Such a fantastic gift for your college student or about to be student. I will buy this for all my nephews and nieces as well. It can be for a serious gift or a gag gift. It is a talking piece in the dorm or really bad toilet paper, either way very useful. kinda why I think it's the perfect gift.

Misprint?
The media could not be loaded. Contains a table of contents and first chapter from a completely different dummies book, Crohn’s & Colitis… I don’t even understand how that happens. Not cool.

Essential for the emerging adult!
As a college professor working with emerging adults taking on their independence, often for the very first time, this book is essential. This book would make a great graduation gift, or a perfect Christmas gift for any young adult. The chapters are divided up to address most major topics young adults may be struggling with, especially if they didn't take any Family and Consumer Sciences classes in high school. This book will fill in those gaps and help them take charge of their independence.

Great book for a gift
A bought this book for a gift to give to my Nephew and his girlfriend. They have a 2 year old daughter and are clueless about all of life's everyday tasks. They post their questions on Facebook to the public asking what to do. I saw this book and thought this would help them so much. They ask questions like if my trash can isn't full on trash pickup day do I still take it all out to the curb? They never and I mean never get their mail from the mailbox. They didn't know they had one or what it was. People of the world these are high school graduated, 20 + something parents. There is an entire generation of people like them out there about to have kids and raise those kids. What will they teach them...absolutely nothing.
