Needed to fill a new 24ft pool and using the hydrant from the city was 1/3 the cost and 100 x faster. Only hose I could find was 2 or 3" and hydrant was 2.5" coming off the cities meter. Purchased this adapter and was able to fill the pool with deepend in about 2.5 hours. 15k gallons in no time. This adapter will outlast me as it made to last. No leaks and threads were perfect.

Since oil drilling contaminated the ground water in our area many decades ago well water in a non-starter. We have to haul water from a nearby town. Filling a tank on it's trailer with a 2 1/2" fire hose was a wrestling match frequently involving getting drenched with water. Until I fit this spin on adaptor with a quick connect designed for our tanks. Now I simply couple the hose and turn on the hydrant, a world of difference.Good product, works well, reasonable price.Recommend.

The item arrived very quickly. It was exactly what I needed for my application. I bought this for work and have used it several times now without any issues.

Beautifully machined fitting. We use these fittings in our lay flat irrigation system to adapt fire hoses to our cam lock fittings. This works perfectly for that purpose to connect a small screen filter for irrigating from our pond.
