Momentum 2 Ear Pads - Replacement Ear Cushion Compatible with Sennheiser HD1 Momentum 1 Momentum 2.0 (M2) Wireless Over Ear Headphones

my original ear pads were cracking after many years of use, so I was looking for replacement ones. I couldn't find the original ones anymore, so I got these instead. they're not quite as plush as the original ones but still very comfortable. the space is slightly larger which makes it more comfortable than the original ones. hard to put on but once you get it on, you never need to do anything so it's fine. it's hard to install because the lip is deeper than the original ones so it's never coming off until you purposely pull them off. I didn't notice any decrease to the sound quality.

I made a risky bet, not sure if this will fit the V1. But it does. And now with the ear cup slightly larger than the original, the headphone feels even better than ever. I forgot that I am wearing it even after 2 hours of conference call.Padding feels super plushed and the fitting is great. Worksmanship is fine, not the best but I don't doubt it will break apart. Leather material however feels thinner and less quality compared to the original. But at the end of the day it all drills down to what you pay is what you get. Still this is really a bang for buck addition for the Momentum over ear v1.

I am happy with these pads They are more roomy than the stock pads which is preferable for those of us with larger ears However that also gives a different feel which I don't mind but some might.The sound quality has not really changed however as the original pads were in a poor state difficult to compare but the headphones continue to produce quality sound with these padsWould I buy again? I'll see how they wear as they are roomy and not quite as tight on the headphone they may wear differently than the stock

Looks and feels like good quality. It’s hard to put it on. Have to pull the edge up and insert it in. After it is installed, it fits well. Don’t feel any change in sound.

I was puzzled to find such good reviews on this product, regarding compatibility with the Sennheiser Momentum headset. Sure, it's comfortable, although the audio isn't as clear as it was with the original pads. The volume is lower, so I need to raise the volume a little higher than I used to. However, my main problem is that the pads don't actually fit on to the headset very well. They're too big, and they keep falling off. If the size/fit was right, I'd be really happy with these pads, but...

I’ve had my sennheiser momentum 2 for about 10 years now and my original earbuds were falling apart. I researched a replacement piece and found this one. Although it can’t be compared to the original ones, it’s done its job by appearing brand new again. I got these headphones because not only did it provide noise cancellation but it had this feature where if you were hearing loud music, no one else can hear what you’re hearing around you. Unfortunately I’m not sure if that’s the case with this replacement piece headbuds. But nonetheless, I am very grateful I have found a replacement.The process of putting back in though took a very very long time. I had to ask my dad to help out and it wasn’t easy installation. But once it was in, it’s very secure and tucked in, there’s no way it gets out.The cushioning material is very soft but it’s not the authentic leather from the original earbuds. But like I said, I am grateful for the replacement piece and this will do for me for now.All and all, if you’re not picky and you want a quick resolution for your peeling or worn off earbuds, this will do its job as well!

I've provided a picture of this new replacement vs an old worn out pad from my Wired Momentum 2 headphones. My headphones are the cream colored ones. The quality of these replacements is good and seems just as soft as the originals. The color is different. But I've had my headphones for so long though, maybe the color on the old pair has changed. You can see the color difference in the phot and judge for yourself if you like the color of the new one.The video on Amazon of someone replacing the pads looked so straightforward. But they've must have done it a million times before! I've never done this before, and it was extremely hard. The slot in the headphones that you need to slip the edge of the new pad around and into is very narrow. And as I was going around the pad using my thumbnail to push the edge of the pad into the slot, it gets harder and harder. I had to really stretch the edge of the pad to get it to go around. I was afraid that I'd tear it, but I don't think it teared. Eventually I got it on. And then I went back around with my fingernails to push the edge of the pad in a bit further. The second pad was a bit easier, but still not easy. They're on, but I feel like I'm going to need to be really careful as I put the headphones on/off my head as I'm not super confident they're on that well since I really stretched out the edges of the pad.So the product is OK, and they fit the Wired Momentum 2 and the color works with the cream version, but install was hard and I'm not sure how long they'll stay on and last due the install challenges.
