I love the smell of real leather in the morning! Great looking light brown leather waist pack is pretty good so far with a nice wide nylon belt and heavy duty plastic buckle. I am close to 300 lbs. and the belt was long enough for me with a bit to spare. As a sweat pants kind of a guy I needed to add some pockets to my person and this is working out perfect for that function. Big enough to hold all my urban survival accessories which consist of a wallet, iPhone, keys, 2 pens, pad of paper, iPhone earphones w/cord, spare change, and a pocket to spare. All I have to do now is put the time in to test the durability of it. If there is any problem I will update my review; if not I will just let this review stand as is. .

The quality of this product is great, but it would not fit my 48" waist over trousers and a belt. I wrote the seller and suggested that especially since there are hardly any 'packs' for larger waists that they should offer a 10" to 12" inch extension with 'male' and 'female' ends. (Viz seat belt extenders on airliners) They could offer this extension at a reasonable cost as an add on. Sadly, my suggestion was not acknowledged so I had to return what otherwise is a good product.

I ordered this fanny pack and the sizing was extremely disappointing. the entire circumference including the pack, came to only 44" inches. yet the description states the waist band expands to 40" inches. this whole description system was MISLEADING. but I needed the pack desperately, so I had canvas strap in my possession but it wasn't the color to match the fanny pack. it was black and also a different texture. so I cut the fanny packs waist band and folded the ends of each canvas and SEWED THEM TOGETHER. HANDSEWN !! (view the pic enclosed) then the inner pockets had to have all their loose threads snipped because they were long and would pull out when I removed my belongings from the pack and these strings would also get caught in the zipper. another issues was that the rounded corners on the top front pocket have zipper issues and it doesn't want to open/close at those points. I will work on that issue shortly so it can more more smoothly and maybe help close more easily. but I did like the color and the feel of this fanny pack. I MADE IT WORK. a tip: shoe repair shops have the machines to sew canvas together so anyone wouldn't need to do it by hand. or maybe some tent repair or auto shops.

So when this arrived I was super happy with it for the price, I used it for 3 days...Yes only 3 days and the zipper just broke off. That’s not cool at all.

This waist pack replaced a similar one I've had for years, after the buckle got brittle and failed. I'd liked it and thought of having it repaired, but was pleasantly surprised that a number of similar ones cost less than any repair would. I picked this one based on design and size, and I'm pleased with how well and carefully it's made. It's even a bit better designed than my previous waist pack, so I expect to enjoy it for a long time.

Disappointed — zipper broke the first week I used the pack.

You need to stop posting my original review from last year when this item was what it claimed to be. This is not leather this time. Its PVC. I know the difference. I ordered this again and was shocked. I still have the original. They are not the same. I want my money back

I've been wearing a belt pack like this for decades. The leather portion of this bag is the best-designed I've ever had. I would like to give it 5 stars but the webbing belt sucks. First, 1.5" webbing is too thick. I think 3/4" is a bit thin as it tends to twist, 1" would be ideal. And the 1.5" side release fastex buckle is way overkill, and hard to pop loose. YKK makes a 1.5" center-release buckle that is half the thickness. Also the way the belt is rigged up, I would have to tighten the main buckle and slide the triglide back several times a day; this could have been cured by taking two loops around the center of the triglide before sewing. Luckily or unluckily, the loop around the center of the triglide was only a single line of stitching, not a bar tack, and it came apart after I'd had this for a couple of weeks. That's good, as I was able to rerig the buckle and triglide as shown in my picture, and it now stays where I adjust it. Update, October 22, 2020: I was wearing this as I was out on my mountain bike. Suddenly the loose end, with the Triglide on it, came loose and started flopping around. I looked at it and said, "This is topologically impossible." When I stopped to rest, I found what you see in the second picture. The low-bid Triglide had broken, with no apparent injury to it. But if you look at it (the broken one in the second picture) and compare with a "real" Triglide, above: it is pathetically weak. You can order a new 1.5" "real" Triglide on amazon. I replaced the broken one with a "real" Triglide and again I'm back to being non-flappable, or at least my waistpack strap is. Update, November 11 2020: the pack just fell off my waist as the strap came unsewed from the leather on the left side. Dropping my rating to one star. Great design, sucky materials and construction. My tailor was able to sew the strap back on with their heavy-duty sewing machine. And I replaced the heavy-duty buckle with one of those flat YKK ones I noted above. So, even though it gets a 1-star rating, it is still my favorite belt pouch type waistpack and I use it all the time. Until some other part of it falls apart. Update, January 2020: the sewing on one of the zippers is starting to come apart. See picture. Sigh. Will fix when it gets worse.
