Let me start with a couple of dislikes. I still have a 5 star rating.1) There is no manual or instructions. I could not find a YouTube instruction. Had to make a number of trials on scrap wood.2) the centering point of the Bit has a very shallow angle. When using for a hardwood, it was taking too much effort to get the blade to bite. Solution was to pre drill the center.The Good:Quality very high for a cheap price. Three bearings kept the blade true.Once set up correctly, it saved me hours.

The jig quality is solid. Easy to use. Finished my Blum hinges replacement perfectly. Wouldn't be able to finish my project without it. Highly recommend!

This hinge jig works pretty well. It does not have any instructions, but its fairly easy to figure out. One point of contention is the bit itself. The bit tends to burn the wood as it is drilling. It is the two pilot points opposite the shaving blade.The jig has a decent collar to set the drill depth. Make sure you use some test wood to get the depth right! I bought some hinges from Amazon and the 'default' drill depth was too shallow.For a few holes, this is the right choice. If you are making an entire kitchen cabinet set, then spend some more money and get a high quality jig.

Yes, have learned A LOT!!!I'm using pine, so this works great for a soft wood like that, I have to say it works like a charm for the standard cabinet door hinges. It's adjustable for all dimensions. I just used it again tonight for the second set of doors. Worked great!

I did installation of hinges without this tool before, and it was very difficult to position holes accurately and set a proper depth. This tool makes it a dream - very fast, accurate and free from mistakes. Accurate position and depth on plywood and particle boards. Pays for itself on a couple cabinets.

This jig is very solidly built and easy to set up and use. I can see it lasting for years, but as others have said the fostner bit that comes with it does not cut well and is a little too large. It took too long to drill the hole and it was too wide.

No instructions and videos are USELESS, so have a mechanical engineer with you when you go to set it up. The bit is DULL and the shaft sticks in the bearings, so drilling is a PIA. Finally, the small screw holes in the template don't line up with the main hole, you apparently have to play with an adjustment (which I haven't done yet). The spacing for those should be fixed WRT the main unit. Good thing I got it on Amazon, because that's where it's going now.

This tool made installing my kitchen cabinet doors hinges a breeze. Very precise, didn’t shift when drilling and super easy to use. Amazing product

I liked the price and the quality build. Only small complaint is the bit could be a bit better quality but it does the job . Good quality for the price compare to similar items that sell for 4 times the price . I would buy again.
