All metal construction causes body to unscrew while using. I put some locktite on the threaded pieces, and works perfectly! Works great as a small screw starter when space is tight. Spring is moderately strong.

Really like these for holding small screws for my glasses.

These do break semi-occasionally, so it is nice to get some level of discount for buying more than 1 at a time. I have had others (from head shops) that were sold as specialized tweezers for handling quartz and boro accessories; it's all the exact same design unless you are getting reverse tweezers. I prefer this style.These are very effective and easy to use, the one issue I would note is to make sure the part that holds the spring in is screwed on nice and tight before use. Once the spring pops out or the claw gets messed up, attempting to reassemble is usually more trouble than it is worth. Otherwise, a good, cost-effective, semi-disposable product.

This is great for removing polish from toes

One of the pickers was completely missing a spring. It had been removed. So guessing someone bought this set, stole the spring to fix something and set the set back. Either that or the quality control is non-existent. You cannot test a picker and overlook the spring is missing!!!!!As it turns out, I have a box of springs for repairing other things and found one that perfectly matched and had identical strength so cost me nothing to fix the 5th one.Overall, apart from that issue, which is why I dropped to 4 stars, they work great and feel very sturdy, The knurling in the aluminium holder makes them very easy to hold. I did notice that one or two opened almost a centimeter wider than the others which is not a problem in any sense. They're also easy to open. I was impressed with the threading and depth thereof. They're not held in by just one or 2 threads so They look and feel well made.

Perfect for grabbing small difficult to reach items. Exactly as described, highly recommended. Exactly as described, highly recommended.
