Maple Guild Organic Cinnamon Stick Infused Vermont Syrup, 12.7 Ounce

I’m editing this review because I’m told that writing too glowing a review is often a sign someone’s been paid or received free product to write a review. I’ve not (though these guys could pay me in their maple syrup all day long and I’d be delighted). ;) This stuff is so yummy. I hunted for it here after I’d first bought a bottle at a discount retail store but then never saw it there again. It’s tasty not just on breakfast foods and such... I add a couple of tsps to hot water in the evening for a soothing, hot drink or into butter to create a spread for a steal-cut oat bread I bake. I imagine it would be very nice in some sweet and savory dishes, too. Beautiful, smooth maple flavor with just the right balance of cinnamon. A little seems to go a long way for me, so I find it worth the price. I hope this company sticks around. I’ve done a bit of research on them, and besides organic and single-source, they have some practices unique in their industry that promote better health for their trees. One article I read said they’re also offering maple vinegar (with many of the same benefits as apple cider vinegar but a mellower flavor) and a spreadable maple cream. Looking forward to trying both. This came quickly and very protectively wrapped... Oh, and the bottle looks lovely on my counter or when setting a pretty table. Obviously, I’m pleased and definitely recommend it. Just ordered more, too.

Ordered the cinnamon and vanilla bean infused syrups and both are really good when using on pancakes. I have discovered they also can be used as a sugar substitute in coffee and other smoothie drinks that may require a little sweetening.
